Um, for the record, there are a great many Christians and other, non-Athiest people who contribute to and are active on FSTDT. Myself included. They aren't all athiests.Thought I would make another fun thread.
Here who on the GT board has ever made the "Fundie" list from the atheists?
It appears I am still in the top 100 since I made a post back in Oct of 2006 when I was still "wet behind the ears" on the now defunct General Apologetics board
Is anyone else from GT on there? If so, please post it if ya are, if you are not on it, then thou art "lucky"

I'd also add that there are Muslim, Hindu, new age, even occasional athiest fundies quoted on the site, it isn't just Christian fundies who say the darndest things. Its just that being an English language site, there are a lot more English language Christian fundies going to be quoted than the funny fundies who are more prominent in other languages.So did you make the list or not? If not, then you are "safe" from being a "fundie"
I would guess most who get on there are from those who have debated atheists, but not really sure. I also debated the religions of Judaism and Islam for quite awhile years back, but haven't found a list yet from them ehehe..

When I first found FSTDT I made quite a few contributions in the "comments" sections. Over time, I've also submitted a few things I considered pretty "darndest". I'm also an activel "public moderator", which means I get to vote on whether a comment is "darnded" enough to be included. All with this username, so if you really care to look up my specific contributions, you may.
Also, FYI, FSTDT is operating anew at fstdt.net if anyone is looking for the new working site since the old one has been made archive only.

Sorry, once something is approved, thats it, I don't believe it can be removed. A dear friend of mine once made a very silly comment as a deliberately tongue in cheek sardonic swipe at Creationists, and found herself quoted there as the real thing. It happens. She even got on there and abused everyone in the comments section of her own post, but no good. The "public admin" function has made this a lot less likely, most of the admins are pretty careful about accidentally approving "Poe's" comments, so most of us will delete anything we suspect to be made in jest. I can't speak for the others, but more than once I've gone to the original source to see a post in its original context to determine whether or not its a joke or sincere. There are some people saying some crazy stuff out there.Ahhhh I see. I didn't realize that. Thanks for providing that info on that site.
Btw....anyway you can make my name "disappear" from that site

Thanks again. The way I worded that post that found it's way on that site could be taken either way which one atheist also implied.
That is still a great site and looking at it over the years has made me a tad more careful how I post. God bless.

Skeptics annotated Bible is an interesting read and raises some issues which we, as Christians should not be afraid to address, nor should we deny they exist. However, SAB is a different site, run by different people than those who run FSTDT.oh this is the .com site that the thread is about. They have on the .net site similar things. I thought it was the same site.

fstdt is how I originally found Christian Forums...I read something there and thought, "Oh I have to go find out what all that is about" I've been here ever since!
