Sure it is.

The people who run sites like that are "fundamentalists" in their own right, in terms of the similarities of their own attitudes and behavior to the caricature of the "fundies" they ridicule. Often, being mocked by such people is the proverbial "badge of honor."

Also, in my own case, showing up there gives me just a tad bit of "Fundy cred" to counter the charges of "You're a Scripture-twising liberal!" that accrue do to my gender-egalitarian arguments.

Oh, yeah, that didn't really sink in the first time I glanced through the thread.

Ok, I'll "tell you" a few things:

-- That was a general observation based on my interaction with various "anti-Fundies" online over some years; it was not directed specifically at you.

-- I don't yet know you well enough to say whether I *would* characterize you that way.

-- Other than those qualifications, I in no way retract or apologize for any of my remarks.

I found this place through IIDB and FSTDT. The kid who created that site was a pretty decent guy and he has since passed away.

When I first read thru that site a few years back after someone mentioned I got put on it [it was on the old GA "den of heathens" board ehehe], it made me a lot more careful on how I phrase my posts.
It is a hilarious site though

i've just posted there to mostly aggravate by posting Bible verses cuz they be readin' the Bible and seeds were planted left and right hee hee....i learned to stick to Bible verses and not get caught up with my own opinions cuz my opinions don't matter anyway. God's do.
