• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I agree you have to DO, but where I fall short is knowin what TO do. For example, I've been to Drs about my Chronic fatigue and they can't help.

Then accept.

I am going to keep going until I find answers but I don't know what God wants me to do.

Just your best.

Does he want me to see a naturopath? Or to try and find another Dr?

You are free to do what ever you want if you think it will help. You are not free to sin that is your only limitation.
Plus, because I was ill the other day and never went to the Dr because I was asleep, Centrelink may want me to pay back money they gave me for looking for work.

You have to accept responsibility for your choices and actions. That is what accepting hardship as a pathway to peace means.

I still looked for work and I have since handed the forms in, but because I was ill, they may want me to pay the money backl. Drs can't back-date letters it's illegal so because I was sleeping due to the fatigue, I have to try and find money from somewhere.

Be honest with yourself. I don't know if you could have helped it or not, only you do. If you could have helped it, then that is why you have this problem now.

I am trying not to worry I give it all to God and I am searching for answers but can't seem to find any.

You have been given answers just not the ones you want to hear.

And I am actively doing my best to not have feelings for a certain someone actively, but the feelings aren't going away

So? You can have all the feelings in the world, sin does not lye in the feelings but the will. Just do not act on those feelings and wish anyone any ill will.

so I don't know waht God wants me to do there. I know I have to do SOMETHING we can't stand still but how can I know? Do I just do whatever and hope for the best?

Do what ever is your reasonable, no excuse making, no pity party, just what is your reasonable best, then accept the outcome and give it to God.

how bizarre- I just got this email while I was on CF. I almost never get chain emails, either:

Dear All:

Okay, I picked seven people who I thought would Do
this. I hope I chose
the
right seven. Please send this back to me (You'll see
why).
In case anyone is interested, Saint Theresa is known
as the Saint of
the
Little Ways.
Meaning she believed in doing the little things in
life well and with
great
love.
She is also the patron Saint of flower growers and
florists.
She is represented by roses. May everyone be blessed
who receives this
message. Theresa's Prayer cannot be deleted.

REMEMBER to express a desire before you read the
poem..
That's all you have to do.
There is nothing attached.
Just send this to seven people and let me know what
happens on the
fourth
day.
Do not break this, please.
Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive.
There is no cost but a lot of reward.

Suggestion: Copy and paste rather than forward to
protect e-mail
addresses
and access to e-virus.
(Did you express a desire?)
If you don't, it won't come true.
Last chance to express a desire.

St. Theresa's Prayer:
May today there be peace with-in.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are
meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are
born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into our bones,
and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise
and love.
It is there for each and every one of you.
Now, send this to 7 people within the next 5 mins.
And your desire will be on its way.
And remember to send this back, you'll see why.

I have been given answers? No I haven't, but if God wants me to just try everything as a possible answer I will do everything. I guess I was waiting for a sign or nudge in a particular direction lest I stumble down a wrong path, but if it's just trial and error then I will continue on with what I am doing.

With panic attacks and chronic fatigue I can accept I have them, but it affects handing in forms and looking for work which in turn affects getting paid anything. No Dr wants to say I have chronic fatigue so no medical letter means Centrelink believe I am 100% healthy.
I can accept whatever illnesses and continue to fight them, but others that don't believe it ie. certain Drs don't want to be involved.

Where I am panic attacks and CF are just laughable conditions and have a mind over matter mentality with most people. I can handle the whispers from certain people and the cross, but it's Drs unwillingness to help which is making it tough. I will just give it all to God and see what happens.

Someone on here gave me a link once to a Chronic Fatigue support forums and I was very saddened to see a lot of people with CF and Panic Attacks were saying they went to like nearly 10 Drs before anyone would help. It must be a real problem for the medical profession I guess?

I think you misunderstand. Your problem, IMO is not medical, it’s spiritual. You suffer from a spiritual problem although you may have valid medical issues, what you need most is a spiritual solution, not a medical one.

Please ponder this prayer.
GOD, grant me the
Serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change
Courage
to change the
things I can
and the
Wisdom
to know the difference.
Living ONE DAY AT A TIME;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardship as the
pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this
sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make
all things right if I
surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy
in this life, and supremely
happy with Him forever in
the next.
Amen
