St. Isaac the Syrian

Here is an interesting article on St. Isaac the Syrian.

At one point he may have been considered a Nestorian, but later in life he was actually opposed by the Nestorians. His later writings were apparently Orthodox.

Note also that St. Isaac the Syrian was not a heresiarch and was never condemned by an ecumenical council of the Church.
