My cat woke me up this morning by (after her trip to the litterbox) running across the floor and sliding into her box of toys...which then turns over so every jingly toy goes flying across the floor. I about had a heart attack.

My cat woke me up this morning by (after her trip to the litterbox) running across the floor and sliding into her box of toys...which then turns over so every jingly toy goes flying across the floor. I about had a heart attack.

Morning, Heather. Aren't cats just diabolical? My cat isn't a fan of toys, but he sure loves straws. Yes, plastic straws. He has a field day with them. It figures he'd choose a 2 cent straw over a $20, scientifically designed cat toy. The freak.

Cats are diabolical! My cat came into my room while I was sleeping and walked around the room no biggie right? I wish. I am allergic to cats and so when he comes into my room I spend the rest of the day stuffed up. Stupid stupid cat.

Our cat's food is up on a high shelf in the kitchen, above the washer and dryer, so the dog can't get at it. But he's getting so fat, he won't event try to jump up onto the dryer to get to his shelf. Now he sit and meows to be picked up

Well then, you clearly need an Owen in your life. My sweet boy decides quite regularly that the vast amounts of cuddles he gets during the daytime are not enough, and that me must snuggle with Mommy on the couch all night. Of course, he only does this when I plan to get up early in the morning to go running, but because I don't sleep well with a squirmy two year old on top of me, such plans are usually torpedoed.

I missed Liturgy yesterday due to not feeling well and sleeping in. July's gonna be awful as far as missing church goes. I have 3 weekends (!) with my Mom, and 1 weekend in Milwaukee , which leaves me exactly 1 weekend at home. I'll be glad when it's over!

The good news is I bought a beautiful dress for my son's wedding. That makes it all better.

Yep, she'll take a rubberband or shoelace over her real cat toys anytime. Her actual cat toys are only fun when they're in the box, and she can run and dive at them and make a huge noise when they go flying all over the place. After that, she's done.

Car update:

Of course, after I pay a tower to pick the car up and take it to the shop...it starts up fine once it's there. They were clueless as to why I had it there. I told them to keep on tinkering with it because I CANNOT have this happen again. Finally it did it again. It's a problem in the steering column. Some sort of switch problem. I am still carless.

They really couldn't give me an estimate yet. But I'm pretty sure it will be manageable. I just hate having to get a ride from someone else. I feel kind of helpless you know...like if smth happened right now (God forbid!), I wouldn't be able to leave and get anywhere.

just a quick update on my daughter and thanks for your prayers. Her lungs are clearing and her temperature is stabilizing. Once her temperature is normal they will hold onto her for another two days to make sure she is OK. Hopefully she will be back home on Thursday.
