It was kind of funny how things worked out though. When my aunt drove me back to the church this evening to check the car one more time, the priest happened to be there. He had returned this evening to do a little more cleaning up in the kitchen. I haven't had the opportunity to really meet with him and talk with him one on one yet. He talked with me about a few things that I've been holding on to for a long time now and even provided a little help toward the cost of towing my car tomorrow.

Right. I remember when Philip was baptised. He had a counter in his sig that was counting down the days and minutes until his baptism. :)

Which reminds me...My baptism birthday is June 29th. :) I'll be two years old.

Yeah, that's right. I remember that counter.

For me, October 15th will be five years.

We've gone through quite a few members here at TAW. People come and go.

Am I mistaken or has the place gotten more conservative as time has gone on?

It seems to me we had a lot more sentimental stuff about "unity" and "reunion" back in the beginning, some of it posted by me.

I think the place has improved and become more Orthodox.

One thing is for sure: if one desires rep points, just go to one of the other forums and start gabbing about "unity" and "what a shame it is we are divided, etc., etc."

Before you know it, you'll be the rep point champ!

I think it is definitely more conservative now. :) Maybe it's because there's more of us. I think the majority of us tend to stick around in TAW for the most part too.

I'm just glad there's not a whole lot of bickering between Orthodox members here (i.e. calendar issues, etc.). Sometimes they arise, but rarely.

Splitting the Non-Chalcedonians off into their own forum helped, too, I think.

It was a mistake to include Orthodox and non-Orthodox in a single forum, but I think it was a relatively innocent mistake.

It didn't take long for reality to start catching up with us, however.

Which means that I might be around now instead of waiting till midAugust to return, though I'd certainly get a lot more work done if I pretended this internet connection didn't work.

Morning Konstantionos, and Emmanuel. Good night my American friends.
I'm just poping in to say hi, and have a great day. I'll be quite busy today.
Konstantinos, I don't think you are that far ahead of us in your timezone.
But I see you were chatting at 3:55am my time. Wow. I don't have time to log on till I get to the office, as I'm too busy making lunches, and getting ready for the day.
