Here, I don't want to be a party-breaker. Let's improve the mood:

Aww, the kids in the phanar!

I just finished doing my friend's hair for her wedding - they're just getting married at the registry - they're not religious and have very little money, so I did her hair for her big day. A french twist and curls :) So pretty!

Would you pray for R & P, God knows their names, and their little girl E? The wedding isn't public knowledge so I'm not using their full names :)

OREOS :D

In Greek, the word for 'beautiful' is 'oraio'...which sounds close enough to... it's a long running joke that it must have been a Greek who invented them, since they're tasty, called that, and lenten!

Thanks!

I have been having trouble trying to remember that as I am learning modern Greek (too much Ancient Attic keeps conflicting linguistically speaking).

Oh Dorothea - I'll eat your share to save you having problems :)

You understand that is a great Sacrifice on my part as I will not enjoy forcing it down my throat

Not much I won't :D :D

^_^ Ah, thank you so much for your generosity and sacrifice. :p

FRUITLESS DISCUSSIONS
The Power and Influence of Good Deeds

"For it is the will of God, that with well-doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men (1 Peter 2:15).

Bishop Nikolai Velimirovic tells us in The Prologue from Ochrid that we are better off if we do not engage others in lengthy debates and fruitless discussions, but that we can better change their hearts by our love and good deeds. Arguing with others, even over matters of faith, is usually a fruitless venture, rarely leading the other to ponder the truth of your words. Better to demonstrate truth by holiness of life, patience, and kindness in our response. Entering into heated words most often leads to a standoff, where only the demons win in the end.

You're welcome :) Things like that really do help, don't they?
