So it was a tandem jump in a place called Marina, CA. I could see parts of Santa Cruz to one side and as far as Carmel on the other and not too far below us was Salinas. Not military related whatsoever (but they did take off $10), but funnest seven minutes of my life.

Best $300 I've ever spent!

sounds awesome. one thing I wanna do before I leave the army is go to airborne school and jump. I have already fast roped during air assault school, so airborne is the next step (hahaha, pun)

Believe me - good dark chocolate is always in my Fasting emergency pack together with small packets of dried fruit for when the incredible hunger pang hits and you can't get a fasting meal
