That really depends on what's available where you are and what your budget is. If you're really in Greece, there's nothing I can do for you. As somebody mentioned, beer is usually local. If you're in the Midwest, I'd recommend Bell's Kalamazoo Stout if you can find it, that's a pretty good stout. If you're after a dry stout (like Guinness), try North Coast's Old No. 38 Stout (from California, I think it's nationwide in America) as an example. But, again, if you're in Greece, I really don't know what you have available. Probably nothing good. Drink wine.

Its sunny out, and I just spent half an hour on the bench in the square in the middle of campus in the sun, reading Met. Kallistos' The Orthodox Church with a blooming gardenia less then a foot behind my head. I am feeling content.

I drink IPA, Double IPA, Weizen, Weizenbock, Dunkel Weizen, Double Bock and Barleywine. Mrs. G. drinks Weizenbock, Dunkel Weizen, Double Bock, Barleywine stoudts and porters.

My hopps plants are already 3 foot tall! I have 2 rhizomes and 10 long shoots growing off the 2 of them.

The Truth is one of the best IPAs I have had. It is sad they do not bottle it!

Based on what I've understood from participating in these forums is that there are some who stay a long time and become regulars and there are some whose stay is short-lived they can't make the cut and quit/leave. . .

For some it's the season to move on...a time to change...
For me it was watching people tear each other apart is such vicious ways that I could no long stand to be around anywhere on the board.
I saw the worst in Christianity, the speech of love right alongside the posting of hatred, bigotry, and just plain mean-ness that I couldn't stand the thought of logging in to see more of it on a daily basis.

Now...I peek in now and again, might stop in and say hi...but at least these days I can do so without getting stomache cramps wondering what horrible things I'll have to deal with...

I've been here a super long time, but I sometimes go through dry spells of not visiting the board very often for various reasons. Now I primarily only come around for fellowship.
