You can't take it to heart. I voted Obama as well, and although I might be ignorant it's not because of the way I voted.

LOL don't run away, I cried (happy tears) last night. He was not the candidate I would have preferred but he is the person who inspired people to believe again and for that I am sooo grateful. Neither would have been able to fix the mess the US is in, so I'll take what I can get. Lord Have Mercy :crosseo:

Good morning to those who serve baklava :yum:, to those who give free beer to their friends, to those who have ADHD, ADD or those who are just bored at school, to those who raise children and teenagers and get advice from others, to those who serve baklava :yum:(I said this one already, didn’t I ?), to those who wear jerseys with pens on it, to those who have a green giant above them, to Annabel and those who are happy to see her, to those who serve baklava :yum: (oops, sorry), and to other friends.
teeheehee, I'll need to bring baklava by more often!

She never says no when I ask for baklava!
You are a lucky guy, it's kind of a pain to make, I wish I had someone to bake it for me!!

LOL At least it's just a robot. During a mandatory class in High School we were required to volunteer for a political campaign. The campaign I worked for made us make phone-calls to ask how the person was going to vote :purple: It stunk soooo much and people were rude, and I don't blame then at all, but it sucks to be on the other end.
Ugg I would hate having to do that. When the kids call form my University for donations I feel so bad for them (even though it is one of the best paying work study jobs) and I try really hard not to tell them how hard the real world is and how little that expensive piece of paper has done for those of us that have graduated in the last 5 years...

After that experience I haven't hung upon anybody unless it's a recording. Your post also reminds me why I live at home and go to the City University, it's just not worth the money to go to a private University.

When I went to school, I was coming from out of state. Out of state tuition is crazy. Luckily, I was able to get it waived because of my good grades....It was more than enough incentive for me to keep the grades up (albeit a little stressful). :)

That's really great, and an excellent incentive to go out of State. Most Universities I applied to offered a 50% scholarship, but when you do the math it still ends up being $15,000 and up including books and expenses depending on the college. Add to that the fact that I am still incredibly undecided about the career path I'd like to take and have no idea what I would like to choose as my major, I don't really regret my choice. Tuition is about $4,000 a year and CUNY is considered a good University. I could have gotten a full scholarship at one of the Jesuit Colleges nearby but they aren't really a great school.

All in all, I thank God I can afford to go to college, on my Father's side I'm actually part of the first generation to go to College EVER so it's just a wonderful opportunity to be in America and have all these resources avaialable.

That's awesome Greg. And take it from me, HANG IN THERE! Withdrawing from school is probably one thing I regret most. I had myself fooled into thinking I'd go back, and here it is almost 12 years later, and I still haven't made it back yet. I still want to though. :) Life just seems to get in the way.

Would you go back to get a PharmD?

Doubtful. I don't think I'll be returning to the pharmacy profession. It's probably for the better too, since it was really sucking the life force out of me.

It's time to take a step back and evaluate my strengths and weaknesses, then based on that start making some realistic choices on where to go from there. Unfortunately, life is still in my face demanding action right away. It's mandatory that I come to some sort of temporary decision while I decide on a plan of action for the long term. I knew I'd have a hard time finding some work, but I in nowise thought it would be this near impossible. It's becoming hard to keep a positive outlook on things.
