Good morning to those who enjoy mudfights, to those who make beautiful frogs, to those who finally admitted that they voted for the democrat candidate and to those who will keep themselves to be hostile, to those who pursue costly studies and to those who left school and regret it and are done with the pharmacy business, and to other friends.

EC - why can't I see the graphic in your siggy ?
Well, the source of the graphic was obviously hosted by Photobucket. Since I merely "borrowed" it from a post I saw sometime ago...

hmm...

I believe it may be because whomever had the image in their Photobucket account had run out of bandwidth and/or hosted too many images; any and all images they hosted now look like that.

Yeah!

I may change it later. For now I figure it makes people wonder what I do for $9 an hour at thirty-six hours a week! :D^_^:p

Doubtful. I don't think I'll be returning to the pharmacy profession. It's probably for the better too, since it was really sucking the life force out of me.

It's time to take a step back and evaluate my strengths and weaknesses, then based on that start making some realistic choices on where to go from there. Unfortunately, life is still in my face demanding action right away. It's mandatory that I come to some sort of temporary decision while I decide on a plan of action for the long term. I knew I'd have a hard time finding some work, but I in nowise thought it would be this near impossible. It's becoming hard to keep a positive outlook on things.

I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

I turned the tv to any channel but news yesterday and felt so much better. We watched CashCab and Mythbusters and such...

Btw, I saw Adam and Jamie from Mythbusters at the airport when we came. They were going while we were coming so they looked super rushed otherwise I would have asked for a picture. :D

Good morning.

My mom called me yesterday to let me know that my aunt and uncle and their grandchildren are going to be on the 700 Club. As much as I dislike Pat Robertson, I'll probably watch. Theirs is a truely touching and miraculous story.

That's really great, and an excellent incentive to go out of State. Most Universities I applied to offered a 50% scholarship, but when you do the math it still ends up being $15,000 and up including books and expenses depending on the college. Add to that the fact that I am still incredibly undecided about the career path I'd like to take and have no idea what I would like to choose as my major, I don't really regret my choice. Tuition is about $4,000 a year and CUNY is considered a good University. I could have gotten a full scholarship at one of the Jesuit Colleges nearby but they aren't really a great school.

All in all, I thank God I can afford to go to college, on my Father's side I'm actually part of the first generation to go to College EVER so it's just a wonderful opportunity to be in America and have all these resources avaialable.

I bet your family is very proud of you!! Hang in there, I advised my sister to go a similar route, as she also doesn't know what she wants to do. I was positive I knew what I wanted to do and the university "promised" to get me there. So it didn't seem that bad to go to what was while I was there the 10th most expensive school in the country. Two degrees and a few years later I work in a totally different field and I'm still working off the debt!!

It would have been cool if you could have given them a myth to bust on an upcoming show!

I have golden delicious apples on my tree, but need to spray for bugs so that they are edible.

Golden Delicious - not my favourite they can be tasteless :(

Gimme some nice Russets :D

The Apple Store has changed quite a bit since I was last there - still the same size [ there's a surprise :D ] but the layour is very different - they have 4 tables [ each for 4 folk plus their trainers ] for One-to-one and can if pushed get another 8 places as well. They still have a theatre for workshops . It was busy.

I had booked a session on making movies [ the techie side of putting the clips together ] which went well. Nice trainer .

London is horrendously busy , took some photos and then got caught by rain - so went off to the flat where I'm staying .

By 4 pm it was pitch black :(

I'm in for the night now [ 5.30 pm ]

We use diatomacious (sp?) earth on ours and surrounding it...it's so fine it suffocates the bugs and critters...but still lets the birdies eat their fill and still left us with 2 barrels full of apples...with no nasty chemicals :D...just one tree...

on the upside, I have enough apple sauce, candied apples, apple jelly, apple butter, and frozen applies pie prep that we won't lack for apple stuffs this winter :D
