You are right, we do know Seraphima's name. It is just that those who are insisting I tell my wife's name have not come out and given their spouses names.

Hmm - since it's me that has been making comments I'll reply here

Michael - my husband has been named here on TAW several times this year

For now we will just call my wife Mrs. G

There are those who read TAW who are not friendly to me, and 4 years ago my x-wife was actively stalking me on here, thus I would preferr to protect the identity of my wife.

that's reasonable indeed Michael.

Stalking online is a menace - I agree and have suffered a bit from it too - so as a result I'm now keeping personal info off the Internet as far as possible .

We were in the process of divorcing and it continued after the divorce both on line and over the phone (she would leave very harassing phone messages) until one day I threatened to file a restraining order on her if I ever heard her voice again.

Always be careful of stalkers...

I had a similar experience with my ex Michael...of course...he was truly psychotic...but still...

Even if a person's not been stalked online or in 3D land, it's always best to remain cautious!

Which is gonna get confusing though...most ppl who are friends on CF refer to my hubby as Mr G for lack of any other information about him

It got really ugly with the x. She even tried to play a guilt trip on me after we were divorced telling me she was pregnant. Now for 4 years she tried to get pregnant but never could. I know it was her and not me because the urologist told me I was healthy and she was in her mid 40s at the time. She had also testified in the divorce hearings that she was not pregnant and I had not been near her in months, so I knew she was not. But here she was on the last message she left me telling me she was pregnant. That is when I threatened the restraining order on her.

I finally got rid of his stalking behavior in the most definitive of ways...

He broke into my apartment one night, drunk as a skunk...he met my Louisville Slugger...

I admit, it was dark, and I didn't know who had busted in my front door, but my daughter was there...he spent several days in the hospital for that effort...and ironically, never attempted to stalk or harass me again

I dunno why

restraining orders are only as good as the paper they're written on...if the stalker has no fear/respect for the law...they aren't worth anything...

Part of my darker years ... God's truly rescued me from myself at times

Well, I made some other threats to her as well, but they are not worth repeating. I didn't threaten bodily harm or anything, just made it clear that she needed to stay as far away from me as possible.

hi everyone! how are ya?

i'm writing a journal entry for school about a family in a airplane crash (it's fiction). Everyone lives though. they crash on a deserted island and they're able to get help. then the little boy from that family wakes up and it's all a bad dream.

the journal entry that i wrote last week was taken after the song and music video "Year 3000". i made the song into a story. my parents said it was creative, my friends said it was weird that i did that.....

I've had too much coffee and tea. It's 1.15am up here but I feel totally restless. Is there any saint you can pray to to get some sleep?

I guess a few bad days at work lately plus a general feel of stagnation doesn't help .

lol.... Wow ...try some chamomile tea??? warm milk sometimes works for me... If nothing works ask Theotokos....she is the "remedy" for all afflictions

Yup ... managed to get those unpacked and washed/dried this weekend too..
moved my office into my bedroom, the storage stuff into the spare bedroom..
and cleaned the basement rooms so they are now ready for mom to move in...

I's tired

and incredibly grateful for leftovers! Tonight I'm in love with my microwave!

I know the feeling. I am still checked in on from time to time by a particular individual that you probably remember.
