though is has to be admitted I always knew that phrase from my youth - pre Flood of course - as
" What's yours is mine , and what's mine's me own"

'the wife' sounds sooooooo impersonal almost as if she is a possession like the dog , the cat , the koi etc etc
I just finished carving a wooden spinning top! It's my first wood carving without using a pattern - and it works! As of now - the record spinning time is 8 seconds. I know there are some slight differences that I will need to smooth out before it can spin longer (this is carved without having any tools other than a carving knife - otherwise it'd be easier)
Anyways - I was excited and figured I'd share
