Gessoing icon panels. I would rather have 36 grit sandpaper rubbed on my back than have to apply multiple coats of gesso and then wet sand an icon panel.

At least it is a labor of love unlike having to clean a restaurant

Sorry to change the subject, but do you guys remember field day in elementary school?
Well, we've been blessed with an elementary school playground back to back with our backyard. There's just a ditch and a fence between us. When my kids went to that school, everyday I spied on them to make sure they weren't getting picked on.
Anyway, today is field day, and I'm enjoying watching them play all the fun games!!!
Not that you care, but I thought I'd share that with you.

We have a school yard in our backyard, too. It's for a middle school. My little boy loves watching the kids play out there during Gym. Then he can watch football practice in the fall. It's also a great place for the family to play in the evenings.

You know what I hate most is when people play with their dog right behind our house.
My dog thinks the school playground is his territory so if he see's that there's a dog over there, he barks his head off and annoys the whole neighborhood!

Maybe, but it is tedium none the less. I hate it when I run out of icon panels to paint on, thus I tend to gesso about 6 at a time.

I almost gave Tikhon the name Alexie, but he wanted to be named Tikhon. Either name would have given him Puppyarch status! And both names were far superior to the name he came with, Aladdin.

Brittany answers to her name, to Brit, to Britbrat, and she also comes when I call Oliver and Tikhon because she is jealous of them getting attention that she thinks should all be rightfully given to her. Her AKC name is "Lorleans love the Pooh", we wanted it to be "Lorleans love Brittany the Pooh" but that would not fit on the AKC registration form. The naming of a dog is a very complex matter!

Brittany doesn't bite, but she is very possessive of me and barks at anyone who comes into my house. The 3 dogs all compete for my attention, it is quite funny.

As for your dog biting, all I can say is OUCH!!!
