Yea, it's such a rough life. Right now he's holed up in some nice hotel (that he gets to travel claim) and ordering room service (that he gets to travel claim) and watching TV.
And while he says it doesn't matter what the house looks like I just want it to look nice when he gets back. It'll be far from done but it'll look better than when he left that's for sure.

Good morning! I woke up to experience a new taverna. Very nice!
I got 2 hours of sleep. The kids got home from an after prom (promorama) at 4 in the morning. They kept in touch throughout the night so we knew they were safe. Unfortunately, none of us are in any condition to go to church.
By the way, the Woolite Pet Stain Remover worked the best. Got the poop stain totally out of the neighbors carpet. Good product!
Going back to bed, see you later.

Hubs is from Tampa so we're jealous... haven't been down there in over a year but I don't like going in the summer so I think we're gonna try for October or so. Michael, I tried to sleep but couldn't, maybe I'll take a nap later. Kids are still crashed out! They need to get up because they have a going away party to go to for a young man in our church that's going to boot camp (marines) for 5 months. His sister is best friends with my daughter and she went with my son to prom last night. So she spent the night (with Kelsey not Greg). We're not liberal parents!!! Anyway, I guess Kelsey saw them come close to kissing (it would have been Greg's first kiss), but the other kids put a stop to the kiss by saying " no don't do it, what would Jesus think", I bet Greg was bummed.
I'll have to get Greg's side of the story later.
Oh well, I better get the kids up, see ya later!

Actually it hasn't been more than just over a month since I saw him last when I visited them in Dubai for a port call. But it's been exactly 4 months on Monday since he left. He's more than happy to finally come home. And the past week he's been on shore more than on the boat so we've been running up the phone bill *GAH*.
I'm just ready for life to be back to as normal as it can get with the man in the Navy.
