Yup! I sure don't like Christmas in FL. Hubby is from FL so we've gone down there the past two years and spent other times with my parents. Being from Finland it's definitely not what I call Christmas feel and so, but this year we're staying home and I can't wait. Our own home and I can decorate the way I want to and we don't have to run around like nuts. Won't be cold and snowy but it will be peaceful.I sure don't! We go down there every other year. I hate Christmas in Florida. It's just WRONG. It's not warm enough to go swimming and not cold enough to feel like winter. Plus, we always get stuck in bad weather. We've had so many years that we have ended spending the night in the Atlanta airport because all flights north were canceled.
Because it's free.I knew that. Ya know, when you look at her age, you don't think college. I forgot. Sorry!
Ok, then, you have no excuse. Why did you choose to go to college in Florida?![]()
Because it's free.I get in-state tuition covered by a state scholarship, and I live at home. So not only is it free, I get paid for it by the extra scholarship money.
Hey, Greg! Whatcha got on that plate? Anything to share?![]()
It's called uber smart! You started college at 14?
That is not even funny considering how much laundry I have to do tonight...Hahhaha, yea, I went 'furry' for a while... I like beards and hubs can't grow one, I for sure can't grow one so I figured at least my CF character can!
Any one up for folding laundry???... ARGH!!!
I don't mind the laundry itself, it's the folding and putting away that just doesn't happen. That is not even funny considering how much laundry I have to do tonight...
Vacuum a lot, sofas, under sofa cushions etc. You've got it a lot easier with hard wood floors. But flea eggs attach to dust and such so that's what you want to attack (mopping probably doesn't hurt either). If you see any live fleas on the dog there is a med called CapStar without prescription that will kill any live ones within a few hours.OK fellow dog owners... I'm afraid I may have fleas in the house. My dog is not scratching (he's protected with the good stuff), but the friend who cared for him while I was gone last weekend came HERE to let the dog out because his place was infested with fleas (his two dogs AND his cat, in his fully carpeted home). I think he brought a few guests with him, although I have yet to see one (I can feel bites when I'm on my couch). Fortunately I have hardwood floors through most of the house... but those foggers are likely to make a bigger mess out of them than anything. Any suggestions on how to deflea (or insure that the place IS defleaed?).
