I wasn't here much because I was tired all day... still am... I had to get my blood drawn in the afternoon, and it wiped me out.

We took a trip around the Lake today, and had lunch at North Shore at the Marina in Tahoe City. We sat outdoors and watched the boats, and the people, and had a great lunch of shredded beef tacos. It was a great experience.

I had blood drawn just before we took the trip. The bruising on my arm just went away.

Finally worked out this one question on my Physics homework...after only 1.5 pages of equations, all of which were relevant.

I am sorry OTW, but that is incredibly immature.

Someone get this guy a sense of humor, stat. Seriously, first high school is generally not a time of maturity. Second, it was a running joke and everyone did waterballoning. The people that we waterballoned waiting for a movie threw waterballons through the window of the lodge we were staying out during the fall retreat. Sort of a school year prank theme, it was all in good fun.

I remember how much I hated Physics back in High School...

You know, I when I was a little kid I wanted to be an Astronomer - but when I found out I had to get a BA in Physics to do that, I gave up.

I have to take Physics 1 & 2 for my degree, but the problem is that those courses only include the more boring stuff like classical mechanics, when it's particle physics that really starts getting interesting. (That, and relativity.)

In fact, I really love science - especially astrophysics and quantum mechanics... of course, I'm no expert, and my interest is purely as an amateur.

But (and a big BUT here) the Math stuff still give me the creeps...

I rather enjoy math, actually. That didn't stop me from taking Physics without Calculus, because I didn't want to take Calculus 2.

I got my mom one of those Sharper Image sets, that has a few tag that you attach to keys and small things that you lose easily and a remote crontrol that you press a button to make the tags beep. They are a pretty good investment for 40 something dollars

I'm around, but my hard drive is failing and doing weird things to my computer. Should have a new one in a week or so. It's not letting me answer IMs and the sound died and a bunch of other weird things. No virus, just the drive failing. Now I've gotta see how much I can manage to get backed up.
