Here's a poll idea....what should I do if I dont get hired for the fall (only 2.5 weeks left in the hiring season, and it's not looking likely...)

Work at Starbucks at least 20hrs a week and get benefits while still having some freedom
Try to recover my old job at the library which offers flexible hours and put myself on the area sub lists
Try to get a "real" job unrelated to music which will be non-flexible but will offer a salary and benefits
Work in some other capacity for someone similar to Starbucks who also offers health care to their part-time employees (anyone know of any companies that do this?)

Whee... I just love July. Too darn hot! I had to run between my house and the library way too many times today. The very worst part was, after wandering around in the heat for over an hour trying to get an assignment printed, I had to walk up eight flights of stairs because the elevator was broken in the building where my classroom was. I was half an hour late for class. But I made it.

Tomorrow's my "late" night at work, AND it's payday, so I usually take my son out for something fun for him and "fast-friendly" for me. Saturday night we're going to the baseball game with the church. We're having a cookout in the picnic area at Harbor Park before taking our seats. I'm looking forward to seeing the people from church outside of church!
