Wonderful just what I need at the moment while I break a bit of bad news to my husband

1) Our upstairs shower decided to start leaking on Saturday - traced why [ having dismantled the shower ] and decided to upgrade it - horrid expensive and whilst doing that will totally re-do the bathroom.

2) Someone who shall be nameless [ not me ] decided to prod the Kitchen ceiling to let the escaping water out - fine - caught it all in a bucket, so today he prodded what was now a dry ceiling - and some of it came down - Kitchen ceiling will need replastering

now for number 3

My dishwasher has just packed up Argh

It's been a wonderful 3 days

I know the feeling, and send you my sympathies. Someone shot out the rear passenger window of my son's car this past week-end. That was $137.00 to replace. My dog got sick, and it is probably something he picked up in the yard, and got violently ill. It was a severe digestive upset. That was another $74.50. He got a shot, some medication, and put on a bland diet. This was between paychecks, so that was all the money we had left to last another week, and now it's gone. It was a very expensive week-end. I just hope we don't have another catastrophy before payday.
