I hope it did not hurt too much .

The spelling is right except there's only one word : bonjour.

After all the divisiveness that has gone on in TAW over the past week, I figured it couldn't hurt me too badly to speak a little French (what little I actually remember). I would still rather say Guten Tag!

bah! bureaucracy! so i just paniced because i saw this thing on the calendar saying, "if you don't turn in your degree application by friday, you won't be able to graduate this quarter," and i was like, i need to look up documentation on this, and i noticed i got a message a short while ago saying, "if you didn't turn in your degree application at your fall meeting with your adviser, note that you need to turn it in by friday the 31st or you won't graduate." BUT: i have no idea if i did that application thing in the fall. i have no idea who my adviser is [high turnover, all i know is the newest one speaks sanskrit]. so, uh, i'd better figure this out.

As the plane was descending in Pau it was raining It stopped for us to walk to the terminal and then once we were in it started again so we got wet bags .

After that - it was sunny ALL weekend - fantastic .

Had a very busy weekend liturgically speaking - but it was great

OH - PAU airport has free WiFi access

I'm glad you had a great week-end. I was there once when I was 17 (I was RC then). I served at the pools, and found it was cool to meet all these pilgrims from all over the world.

It's great fun there I have to admit - but I spent most of my time up in the Ukrainian Church , I really did not have more than a few hours free on both Saturday and Sunday - I was being taught about the various Services that were 'on' - PSL , Hours Parastas , Vigil , Vespers etc etc.

In between trying to learn about Services I was also trying to explain to French folk about the Church I even used French during DL on Sunday as we had folk who had never experienced the joys of DL - they were absolutely overcome by it.

Truly exhausting weekend - but I loved every minute of it.
