Our Father, may everything I do begin with Your Inspiration, Continue with Your Help
And reach perfection under Your Guidance.

With Your loving care guide me in my daily actions.
Help me to persevere with love and sincerity.
Teach me to judge wisely the things of earth And to love the things of Heaven.

Heavenly Father,

Many of my family and friends are suffering in emotional
pain. With your help, I pray, grant them a perspective on the suffering of this world. Teach them now to find new faith in You, in themselves, in doctors and helpers, and in their fellow man. I ask Your grace and courage for them that they might embrace their life and experiences as their own, good and bad, and begin their life anew today. Allow them that strength to communicate about their inner experience so that others, working through Your hand, may understand and accept them, and may they find Your peace within their own selves.

By Your grace, give me the ability to give my love and attention to others and accept them with all their faults and struggles to support and pray for them in Your Name.

NASA & THE BIBLE This is amazing​

For all the scientists out there, and for all the students
who have a hard time convincing these people regarding
the truth of the Bible, here's something that shows
God's awesome creation, and that He is still in control.
​

Did you know that the space program is busy proving that
what has been called "myth" in the Bible is true?
​

Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis Engine Company
in Baltimore, Maryland, and a consultant in the space program,
relates the following development.
​

I think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us today
happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland.
They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, and planets would be
100 years and 1,000 years from now..
We have to know this so we won't send up a satellite and have it bump into something
later on in its orbits.

We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the planets will be
so the whole thing will not bog down.

They ran the computer measurement back and forth over the centuries, and it came to a halt.
The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which meant that there was something wrong
with either the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards.

They called in the service department to check it out, and they said, 'What's wrong?'
Well, they found there is a day missing in space in elapsed time.

They scratched their heads and tore their hair out.. There was no answer.

Finally a Christian man on the team said, 'You know, one time I was in Sunday School,
and they talked about the sun standing still.'
While they didn't believe him, t hey didn't have an answer either, so they said, 'Show us, '
He got a Bible and went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement
for any one with 'common sense.'
There they found the Lord saying to Joshua,
'Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man of them stand before Thee.'

Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy! And if darkness fell,
they would overpower them. So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still!
That's right... 'The sun stood still and the moon stayed and lasted not to go down about a whole day!'
(Joshua 10:12-13)

The astronauts and scientists said, There is the missing day! They checked the computers
going back into the time it was written and found it was close but not close enough.
The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes . .
not a whole day.

They read the Bible, and there it was about [approximately] a day.
These little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble
because if you cannot account for 40 minutes, you'll still be in trouble 1000 years from now.

Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits.
As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible
where it said the sun went BACKWARDS.

The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book and read these words
in 2 Kings that told of the following story:
Hezekiah, on his death bed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him
that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof.
Isaiah said 'Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees?'
Hezekiah said, 'It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees,
but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees.'

Isaiah spoke to the Lord, and the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD!
Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes!

Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings
make the missing day in the universe! Isn't it amazing?

PRAISE YOU God of All Creation, in the Name of JESUS, Your Son and Our King of Mercy, I request you to heal the many patterns of suffering that I see among my family and friends. We are in need also of a healing also for broken hearts, rootlessness, and a sense of not belonging, rejection, bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness. Thank You for bringing to mind ingrained patterns that You are ready to heal--any pattern of shame, pain or grief that cause brokenness and estrangement. Send Your healing Mercy for lifting up these spiritual beings into a fuller walk with You and renewal in The Holy Spirit.

I stand beneath the cross as an intercessor by which I make this request and wait in Joyful Hope because I trust You and know that once I bring this to you…that You are in control.

Most Compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring to you souls who are undergoing trials and struggling with FAITH.

Father of Mercy, by the bitter Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross: let these be glorified in Our Savior and Your mercy. I bring these souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In the fire of Your pure love let these weak souls be filled by You and set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise Your mercy and draw them into the very heart of Your love; and bestow upon them the gift of holy love.

As terrible as was His torture and death, remember also the agony of our Lord Jesus in His great suffering before His crucifixion. He was already suffering the pain and anguish of all the people that He saw with His natural eyes. His love for them was so great that He wept [John 11:35] and His many efforts in spite of having the His Father's Word still were largely unsuccessful:

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!" Matt 23:37

Where were the thousands that loved Him when the following happened:

"When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him." John 19:6

And where were they some said this?

Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.' Matt 27:25

His pain was tremendous for He loved even those who were working hard to find a way to take His life.

How would we feel if our own natural children were conspiring to murder us?

Oh Lord God have mercy us for we are truly an abomination in Your sight! When we were in the depths of sin, You loved us and sent Your Son that we might be drawn to You. Praised be Thy holy name!

What Jesus endured shows us how much He loved us. He went through so much pain, suffering, torture, and humiliation - all so we could have eternal life, and have it to the fullest.

So what took the Lord's life? No man did, no Roman centurion, no cross took Jesus' life. He was able to do something that no other human being can do - he laid down his life.

When it was finished, with a loud voice, he gave up the ghost.

Jesus gave his life.

"The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life - only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father." (NIV) John 10:17,18

I'm deeply blessed ... Our Lord conquers death and gives life.

What were we talking about? Oh yeah, yesterday some of us felt just a bit "OFF"

So whats that about I thought yesterday...and today again...I am turning into an ole bear. I just want to crawl into bed, bury myself in warm covers and sleep till the sunshines again. So, I drank coffe and then Pepsi and still sleepy sleepy sleepy.

Well good morning Springrain! The sun certainly is shining here in northern Oklahoma! Be blessed on this day heartful wishes!

What were we talking about? Oh yeah, yesterday some of us felt just a bit "OFF"

So whats that about I thought yesterday...and today again...I am turning into an ole bear. I just want to crawl into bed, bury myself in warm covers and sleep till the sunshines again. So, I drank coffe and then Pepsi and still sleepy sleepy sleepy.

You know, I drive charter buses for my second job and there are many, many times when I'm sleepy while driving. I have found that drinking coffee or any other caffeine delivery system is actually counterproductive most of the time.

Water. I drink cold water. Just sip it and it will help you stay awake. In emergency situations though, I must admit to using a diet Red Bull. I don't believe it is the caffeine that does it. I think it's the other ingredients in there.

Now, for you SADD sufferers. Buy yourself a grow light! You know, one of those light bulbs that puts out UV rays... the ones that help your plants grow. Put that in the room that you spend the most time in with a light on. Heck, buy several and put them in all of your lamps. They're not that expensive.
