  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm guessing just about everyone is excited for spring break, I know I really need the break from classes.
So what are your plans? Going anywhere special?

I'm leaving this Friday for Berlin with a group of 11 others from my college group. We're doing some missions work and some sightseeing, I'm so excited. Though I'm not looking forward to the week after with all the exams and homework that teachers have assigned, they seem to think we want to/have time to do school work over break.

We actually have two "spring breaks." One was two weeks ago, and lasted Thursday through Sunday (4 days), on which I went on a tour (through Ohio and western PA) with an amazing Christian singing group called Koinonia, of which I am the music director. We had such a great time, and the friendships I cemented will probably last a lifetime.

Our Easter break is during Holy Week (the week before Easter, for the non-traditional) and Easter Monday. I will probably be lifeguarding at my home job, and I will be playing the organ for a church on Easter Sunday.

maybe you'll see my sister :) she's leaving this weekend for germany too.

My spring break is a ways away... I still have a ton of projects and midterms to do before spring break. Too far away to plan anything. But when it comes I will really need it.

I'm going to go to Knotts Berry Farm on my birthday in little over a week though. :)

I've already had mine, but I really didn't do anything to exciting. I worked like 4 days of it, and went dress shopping for my friends wedding this summer for another day of it, and that didn't leave to much of it. I also went to lunch with my mom one day at a restaurant that has awesome hamburgers and shakes :)

I'm going to go do some things I haven't done in a really long time: Photograph airplanes, and do practice my aerobatic routines! Wohoo! :)

Oh yeah, and also enjoy my new car. :D
