Looks like the people don't care for there restrictive DRM bundle

I bought it today, but my dvd-player don't understand that there is a disc in it. Can't access it no matter what I do. 50 euros down the toilet if I can't get the game returned to the shop. The last time i bought a game there, there were also a disc problem with it, just my luck.

Very ironic, but pirating games only creates more of a problem. Most claim they download the game only because of the DRM, but if spore had no protection it would probably be downloaded even more.

Very ironic, but pirating games only creates more of a problem. Most claim they download the game only because of the DRM, but if spore had no protection it would probably be downloaded even more.

I doubt that part, given that the protection did nothing to prevent the pirating of the game, it was available as a torrent the day before it was released at the stores. (Sounding like an inside job)

And I've got my $5 coupon for Spore at Target when I bought Creature Creator, and was looking forward to buying this game (had the budget set aside for it and all)
But I can't stand the protection they used, so I'm holding off on buying it to see if they release a updated version without there "Protection" (That didn't even work )

I bought the game and I must say... BOOOORING! Was not impressed with any stage of the game, including space stage.

I was looking forward to this game coming out for at least a year. Much less to say I was really disappointed in it. I thought there would be a lot more open-endedness and quests, especially in the single creature phase.

Oh well...guess I can look forward to finally getting Fable 2.
