This is an open letter to everyone willing to read it and to anyone that some may forward it to. You will be doing them a disservice if you do not.
It infuriates me to see people stumbling around looking for meaning as if truth were a scavenger hunt within the Bible. That attitude may serve churches built upon human concepts, and not God's truth as Jesus said. Churches seeking to govern, hoping to retain their flock while keeping them guessing; but it serves no purpose to those who are not promised their next breath, and that my friends, is all of us. Time is of the essence.
Reading the Bible from front to back is like putting together a massive mini-piece jigsaw puzzle with no picture on it. You may get it put together but without any idea of what it is supposed to represent.
We are told right in the beginning in Genesis 2&3 what is expected of us and where we went wrong. Those two simple facts are the focal point of the entire Bible. It was famously repeated and rejected on a mountain in Exodus. Jesus came and reaffirmed it and still no one listens.
We are to put God's Will first, not ours. Servitude to Him and each other. We went wrong by putting our will first, the original sin, thus serving self before God or each other. It's that simple and what is needed to understand the Bible as a whole and what Jesus said is required to enter the Kingdom.
Focus on that alone first. As I said, the entire Bible reaffirms these two points giving us examples of human self-serving failures and God's repeated attempts to get us to listen to His one truth, His Will. Reject it or repent.
If you are not interested in putting the Will of God ahead of your own, there is ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE in going through the Bible, because you are never going to find what you want to hear! Want your ears tickled? Go to church.
