Splurging

My recent splurge (which is a major gift from the Lord - long story!) is an old style mini. I was saving up for a little car & there's none more titchy than a mini. I'm still learning to drive, hopefull I'll get my license soon. No money now!

Hmmmm....I think I want to start saving to go on a cruise. To where or with who, I don't know. Someplace tropical, for sure.

If not that, then perhaps, this. I sponsor a child through Compassion, in Bolivia. One day, when she gets older (she is 4 now) and will remember me, I hope to be able to go visit her. So, that might also be a goal to start saving for.

When I first saw the new Italian Job, I couldn't help but want a mini for a solid half hour! Good thing it passed, else I'd likely have a raft of speeding tickets!

Because the wheels are tiny, you’re much closer to the ground & feels like you’re going a lot faster than you are.
Wheeeeeeeee!

Same as an old-style Porsche - I rode in one once, and you were sitting about five inches from the ground with the road zipping along just beneath - one slip and you would lose the back pockets from your jeans!

I splurge on movies....I see so many of them!

as for savings....I'm constantly saving for tuition (will be over soon!) and travel (UK in 2005!!)

I am on a diet where I have lost 80 pounds so far, but while dieting, I will splurge once a week on a Wendy's Frosty. Thanks, Dave!

Splurge...how's this: East Coast Swing --> One week, over 2400 miles, 5 ballparks, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Boston, NY Yankees, Baltimore....I can't wait until May!!!
