Tarantino and Bruce Willis are Scientologists?

Scientology is Satanism at its core level.

Yes. You are right, L Ron Hubbard (founder of Scientology) was a degenerate Satanist and very close friends with the founder of The Church of Satan in California and Britain´s most dastardly occultist. The core philosophy of Scientology (which blueprints Satanism) can be summed up as follows : Do thy will (note: not God´s will).Tarantino glorifies this way of thought in his movies (people do whatever they want, without regard for human life or morality).

I don't think that's what he was doing...I think he was attributing Tarantino's directorial methods to his Scientology, not the other way around.

And Satanism does teach that "'Do what thou wilt' is the extent of the law." He's also right about the fact that L. Ron Hubbard was best of friends with Alistair Crowley, the infamous "black magician" and founding member of the Church of Satan (along with Anton LaVey) out in California.

Then why is he routinely mentioned as being so?

Perhaps his teachings and whatnot were indoctrinated into the Church of Satan. What does it matter? Crowley was a practitioner of black magic, and that IS well-documented. These are the same things they do in Satanism: the so-called "deep secrets of Satan." Idol worship and witchcraft have been around for a lot longer than the Sixties.

What do you suppose the difference is to God between Satanism and black magic? Neither are of Him, and both are abominations to Him. Do you not think He will judge both the same: as idolatry? I assure you, His Word points that no one who does either of these two things will inherit the Kingdom of God.

L. Ron Hubbard was a charismatic conman who duped Jack Parsons (the man who did correspond with Crowley, and was a major figure in the Ordo Templi Orientis in the USA) out of a sailboat retail business, and a girlfriend.

Oh yeah, sure. Hubbard just hung around Satanists for fun, went into business with them just to make a buck, shared their girlfriends cuz he was just one of the guys...

Sure...no biggie.

Puh- lease!!!! Wake up and smell the freight train dude!!!!

I still fail to see what on earth this has to do with Pulp Fiction.

Pulp Fiction was a film produced and directed by Quentin Tarantino, a Scientologist. We were therefore discussing the evils of Scientology, and how the Scientological views of Tarantino heavily influence his films, including this one.

Pulp Fiction (and most of Tarantino's films) is an awesome movie and I never tire of watching it.

Scientology is not a "devil worshiping religion".... it was simply a cult made on a bet by L. Ron Hubbard to (1) prove he could start a religion.. ANY religion (2) make money. He succeeded at doing both.

Pulp Fiction has nothing to do with Scientology. It is a violent, raw film depicting some aspects of what happens in real life (*gasp*) and many fantastical aspects of what only happens in movies. There is a lot of foul language contained as well as a teeny bit of nudity and lots of gun violence. Not a film for everyone, but it is well done.

Pulp Fiction IS a Satanic movie, as the character of Marsellus Wallace (played by Ving Rhames) is supposed to BE Satan. The band-aid on the beck of his neck is there to hide the "666" mark that Tarantino had envisioned the Devil as having (perhaps he's "qualified" to know this?) :D Tarantino said this himself in a commentary he gave during an interview about the symbolism he used in writing the script.

Scientology is most definitely a Satanic religion. As God sees it, if you aren't for Him, you are against Him. If you aren't glorifying Christ, you are glorifying Satan. There is no "gray area" or in-between compromises with God when it comes to who and what you glorify. And yes, L. Ron Hubbard was close friends with Alistair Crowley, and Scientology is a man-made (therefore Satanic) religion, which at its core is BASED on the lies of Satan. Why do you think it's all about money? You cannot serve both God and mammon.

Those are the facts.

Yes, same here,

If people want to discuss scientology then they are free to do so . . .. over in the non-christian religion forum.

That is funny.... I hear many different versions of God. Your version where "If you are not for Him, you are against Him." is not universal.

Scientology is simply a cult that takes advantage of those people who have money. It is "based" on some crazy science-fiction writer's silly ideas and centers around imaginary beings that have nothing to do with gods, good or evil.

And I would like to read the commentary by Tarantino that says what you claim. Also, just because a movie has the devil in it, does not mean it is a "Satanic" movie. And the character played by Ving Rhames... if he was the devil why was he not able to get himself out of the unfavorable situation he found himself in?

(Sorry for the topic drift)

But yes, if you research his relationship with Jack Parsons, it does really seem like Hubbard was in it for the fun sex, and easy money. Hubbard never seems to have taken any religion seriously, but look cynically at them as a money making opportunity.

Ajax...I don't know where you're getting your "information" from. Tarantino is not a Scientologist. I searched several websties about him, and searched several websites which list celebrity scientologists and, what do you know, Tarantino wasn't listed on any of them.

He's not a Scientologist. I don't know what crazy source you got that from.

And the band-aid isn't hiding the words '666.' Tarantino had never explained what the bandaid meant, or even if it meant anything at all. Just like he never has discolosed what was in the briefcase.

I see very little of any kind of fact in your argument.

Actually, Ascetic Crusader is who said Tarantino is a Scientologist. Everything I've said about Tarantino being Scientologist was based on what Ascetic Crusader said...so if he's not a Scientologist, then I stand corrected.

But the commentary I speak of DID take place, and he DID say what was supposedly in the suitcase...

He said it was supposed to be the Holy Grail (which explains the glow.)

Either way, Tarantino doesn't make films that glorify Christ, and that's enough for me.
