Some additional knowledge regarding 'Prophetesses'. One may be empowered to prophesy without being a Scriptural prophet (or 'prophetess').

Prophetess- A woman who has received a testimony of Jesus and enjoys the spirit of revelation. A prophetess does not hold the priesthood or its keys. See Revelations 2:18-29 (Wicked Prophetess Jezebel and "what some call the deep things of Satan" the terms and labels are spiritual allusions to represent things contrary to God's/Christ's will, according to His Word, also His support for those who reject this teaching)

Though only a few women in the scriptures are called prophetesses, many prophesied, such as Rebekah, Hannah, Elisabeth, and Mary.

Miriam was called a prophetess- Exodus 15:20
Deborah was called a prophetess- Judges 4:4
Huldah was called a prophetess- 2 Kings 22:14 (2 Chronicles 34:22)
Anna was called a prophetess- Luke 2:36

However, all of Christ's 12 disciples/apostles were in fact Men.

"When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He questioned His disciples: “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”

They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

“But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?”

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Then He admonished the disciples not to tell anyone that He was the Christ.” Matthew 16:13-20

"You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:9-10

Priesthood- The power and authority of God, to accomplish God's will (Romans 12:1-2).

Knowledge and Truth shouldn't affect our ability to love all people. No one should be able to tell. That is the law of Christ (Galatians 6, 2 Corinthians 12). Power in our weaknesses. God's grace is sufficient.

"What's really going to deceive Christians in the last days won't appear as blatant evil. It is going to be a form of good that is blatantly evil in God's eyes." #goodorGOD I've had a similar talk.

Ministers preaching that 'Hell' is still hot, are not evil ministers.

They are no worse than ministers preaching heaven as the ONLY reality.

Christ preached on hell (and in greatest detail) more than anyone. It must be important. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

However, BOTH are PRESUMPTUOUS in the belief that MAN controls who goes to heaven and who goes to hell.

Grace that brings no change of heart/lifestyle...is that one grace? Hope. Faith. LOVE. Preach the Word.

"Don't you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can't you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?" Romans 2:4

"I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction.

For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." 2 Timothy 4:1-5

"Put not your trust in princes,
in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
When his breath departs, he returns to the earth;
on that very day his plans perish.
Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord his God,
who made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that is in them,
who keeps faith forever;
who executes justice for the oppressed,
who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets the prisoners free;
the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous.
The Lord watches over the sojourners;
he upholds the widow and the fatherless,
but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.
The Lord will reign forever,
your God, O Zion, to all generations.
Praise the Lord!" Psalm 146:3-10

#RealityCheck #Watchmensduty Repentance- A change in behavior. A change in our mind about Christ. A turning from sin. APOSTASY is a SCRIPTURAL REALITY. Let's SPARE the LIES. (James 2:14-26, 2 Peter 2, Hebrews 6:1-12, Jude, Ezekiel 33:1-20). Called by God the Father from grace- John 6:44, Acts 5:31, Acts 11:18. It is Love not Legalism.

"So I tell you this, and testify to it in the Lord: You must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts. Having lost all sense of shame, they have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity, with a craving for more.

But this is not the way you came to know Christ. Surely you heard of Him and were taught in Him in keeping with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." Ephesians 4:17-23

"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

"Bear fruit in keeping with repentance." Matthew 3:8

"Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:19-23

"Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out" Acts 3:19

"Bear fruits in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” Luke 3:8-9(14)

"but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance." Acts 26:20

#Exposingdeception We don't battle flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). Love (1 John 4:7-21, 1 John 5:13-21, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

"You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder." James 2:19

The SCRIPTURAL definition of FAITH and BELIEF- Hebrews 11

The SCRIPTURAL definition of UNBELIEF. Hebrews 3:12-19 (Also Romans 3:1-8).

The point of good works is that it keeps your faith steadfast to the END, and it testifies to your faith in Christ. God's Word keeps you in tune with GOD'S kingdom, NOT the WORLD'S kingdom.

"Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, and many false prophets will arise and mislead many.

Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Matthew 24:9-14

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:1-5

"The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14

"Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son." 1 John 2:22

"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world. The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God remains forever." 1 John 2:15-17

"For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels." Luke 9:26

Interesting read that is relatable! I often thought accusing myself for everything (even if it wasn't my fault) may have been a bad thing, but now I believe it has done me much good in the long haul. Pain. Suffering. Endurance. Glad to know I'm not weird.

I have a qualm regarding Universalism (the belief that all humankind will be eventually saved) Theology and all similar Theologies. It's hopeful, but not Scriptural. The words "grace" "faith" and "belief" are often thrown around without substance. (1 John 3:11-24). Following commands keeps us sober-minded. Hmm. Power, Love, and a Sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7). I don't see how uncontrollable human emotion is conducive in preaching the gospel. It is a relay of godly edifying information.

"Jesus said these things while He was teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum. On hearing this, many of His disciples said, “This is a difficult teaching. Who can accept it?”

Aware that His disciples were grumbling about this teaching, Jesus asked them, “Does this offend you? Then what will happen if you see the Son of Man ascend to where He was before?

The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. However, there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray Him.) John 6:59-65

Then Jesus said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless the Father has granted it to him.”

"If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love." John 15:10

"Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?” John 21:20

"Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved." John 13:23

"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." John 1:18

"From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve." John 6:66-71

No longer a slave to sin, but a slave to righteousness.

"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." Philippians 3:12-21

#WHEATandtheTARES NOWHERE in God's Word does it say NOT to strive for perfection. It says BE perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect! THAT is putting on your new self and new creation!

Don't allow someone else's unwillingness or reluctance to transform, define or influence your own willingness to attain to God's desire for us in Christ Jesus. Step forward, knowing that it is not in vain. This way, there is no obstacle preventing you from teaching, that which you practice!

"He has told you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion),
And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?" Micah 6:8 (AMP).

If your mind is set on Christ and obeying His commandments of love, you will gradually lose interest in the things of the world, and be re-aligned with what the Father wants for us. This is not something we accomplish by our own strength (2 Timothy 3:1-9 AMP). It is only accomplished by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23 AMP). The road of the Lord's discipline (Proverbs 3:11, Hebrews 12:4-13 AMP) is painful but rewarding in the end.

"For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world." 1 John 2:16 (AMP)

"Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." James 1:12 (AMP)

As a Body, it is PARAMOUNT that we stop being OFFENDED by God's Word. Being offended does not change what has been spoken by Christ. We should be supporting each other with this. Christ is the Word. (John 1:14).

"so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)

"It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]." 1 Corinthians 13:6 (AMP). Don't miss this SMALL part of LOVE! It's THE BIGGEST AND MOST IMPORTANT, ESPECIALLY in the CURRENT age of REBELLION. Being a Leader/Pastor/Religious celebrity DOES NOT EXEMPT YOU. Stop looking at MERE OVER-EXALTED FLESH and BLOOD.

Judas Iscariot was an APOSTLE. One of the 12 Disciples of Christ.

"Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve [disciples]? And yet one of you is a devil (ally of Satan).” Now He was speaking of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot; for he, one of the twelve [disciples], was about to betray Him." John 6:70-71 (AMP)

"If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates (works against) his [Christian] brother he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should also [unselfishly] love his brother and seek the best for him." 1 John 4:20-21 (AMP)

When I pray healing over/for people my own body AND soul may feel much stronger. Whether or not this is Scriptural, would be a resounding YES. (Note: you do not HAVE to be physically present next to them (Matthew 8:5-13 Faith of a Roman Centurion). We serve the ONE Living God. (Although you may miss the experience if you are not!)

"Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.” Luke 6:38 (AMP)

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3

"“He personally carried our sins in His body on the [cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed.”" 1 Peter 2:24 (AMP)

"If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides]. James 1:5-8 (AMP)

Parable of Persistence...

"Then He said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves [of bread]; for a friend of mine who is on a journey has just come to visit me, and I have nothing to serve him’; and from inside he answers, ‘Do not bother me; the door has already been shut and my children and I are in bed; I cannot get up and give you anything.’ I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything just because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence and boldness he will get up and give him whatever he needs.

“So I say to you, ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking [persistently], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently], the door will be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!” Luke 11:5-15 (AMP)

"For to everyone who has [and values his blessings and gifts from God, and has used them wisely], more will be given, and [he will be richly supplied so that] he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have [because he has ignored or disregarded his blessings and gifts from God], even what he does have will be taken away." Matthew 25:29 (AMP, Parable of the Talents)

It's amazing. The laziness by which self-professing Christians offer counsel to their family regarding serious matters in the Church Body of Christ. "Stop judging" is one such ignorantly indolent rebuttal I see on a daily basis. This testifies to the general immaturity and insincerity of the average "believer" as well as their local leaders. I detest it. It's like no one takes eternal life (both earthly or eternal) seriously anymore.

I suppose they expect God not to take them seriously anymore. So they blame Him for EVERYTHING. It's very sad. I miss excommunication. Something Jesus commanded. And people say we don't live in an age of rebellion...:) Do we even know what LOVE IS?? Niceness? A Duty? A Job? A temporary feeling? A business? 2nd place?
1f602.png

"Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.” Be sober-minded [be sensible, wake up from your spiritual stupor] as you ought, and stop sinning; for some [of you] have no knowledge of God [you are disgracefully ignorant of Him, and ignore His truths]. I say this to your shame." 1 Corinthians 15:33-34

"“If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens and pays attention to you, you have won back your brother. But if he does not listen, take along with you one or two others, so that every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses. If he pays no attention to them [refusing to listen and obey], tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile (unbeliever) and a tax collector. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth shall have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth shall have [already] been loosed in heaven.

“Again I say to you, that if two believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers], I am there among them.”” Matthew 18:15-20

It's like some people don't take this Matthew 18:15-20 passage seriously or something.

"Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart, saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and had no respect for man. There was a [desperate] widow in that city and she kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice and legal protection from my adversary.’ For a time he would not; but later he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will give her justice and legal protection; otherwise by continually coming she [will be an intolerable annoyance and she] will wear me out.’”

Then the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says! And will not [our just] God defend and avenge His elect [His chosen ones] who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay [in providing justice] on their behalf? I tell you that He will defend and avenge them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [this kind of persistent] faith on the earth?” Luke 18:1-8

This wasn't designed for Church buildings, but for the global Church Body of Christ (The BRIDE of Christ). We live a very westernized life over here in North America, the proud. The exalted. The rebellious. I wonder how long it will last...
