:) Spirited Away is, like, the greastest movie ever!!(My opinion) Haku or Kohaku and Chihiro are great characters! If I had to rate it, it would be a 9. WHat about you? That is, if you have seen the movie before!!;) If you have, you would maybe agree with me that it is great!! Bye!

Yep I love Spirited-Away  I'd rate it 8/10 it made me cry a bit too  I like the song at the end, however it gets stuck in my head! garrr

but this is a close second behind princess mononoke.

I like them both!! I don't know which is my fav though.

Anyone by chance saw "the cat returns?"

I've seen it. Didn't like it as much as Spirited Away, though.

S. A. has to be one of my all-time favorite anime movies. I'd give it a hundred! :D Definitely worth that Oscar... ^_^

Miyazaki died??? Que?

No, he's alive as far as I know. I think the poster was reffering to the fact that Miyazaki isn't doing movies the way he used to. He used to be heavily involved in multiple parts of the movies he made, including the animation process (basically being the primary animator for the major scenes), but now he says he's too old to do it. So his role has been cut back significantly. Not sure if he still directs, but I think he's working on another movie (either directing or producing). He'll probably be involved in making films as much as he can until he dies.

Ah, that's a relief. I vaguely remember him/Studio Ghibli being attached to an Earthsea project... it'll be interesting, though the poster suggested that they hadn't twigged to the 'these people have dark skin' thing.
