Awesome movies, despite there inaccuracy. Marvel comic movies, at least to me, are coming out really good. Well except for the Hulk...

Oh and for everyone contemplating Spider-man 3 villian, it's not going to be Harry as GG. Maybe in the 4th one, but not number 3. I have both actual facts and logic for this, so if any is wondering I can explain in detail, and give my opinion on the villians to appear in the next movie. Well I'll just explain, but it has spoliers so be aware!!!




Logic: It won't be Harry as GG because most fans of the movies (and not the comic book mind you) will complain that the third movie is to similiar to the first one. You know accept for the plot. People will want to see a new villian, not one that has already been done.

Fact: The villian Thoman Haden Church (I think that is his name) is rumored and speculated to play the Sandman. Which IMHO would be a cool villian to introduce. The Raimi has said he will do 6 movies, 3 and 4 are [rumored] to be shot at the same time. So number four might house Harry as GG. Also look for the Lizard to be in one of the movies, because they introduced Dr. Connors in SM2.

Now they got that guy who played Eric in that 70's show. Rumors is he will be playing Eddie Brock in SM3. All I can say is I hope not!!! That guy is puny and skinny, Eddie Brock (aka Venom) would have to be some big bulky dude (like Dolph Lundgren or something). Anyway, that's just my take. My sources come from

The 1st one is great, and I think the second was one of those rare sequels that surpasses the 1st in every area.

now lizard would be a cool villian
however the only problem i have with that is that it could easily turn into a cheesy monster hunt show or something.

also that guy is too young to play eddie brock
as i recall brock was at least 10 years older than spiderman by my guestimate.
and yes he is too scrawny. even without his venom suit eddie was built.

well my list was going for the group that would most likely appear in a spidey movie

i mean the owl as i recall had the whole failed villian thing for a longtime
and redskull is captain americas territory

and im still holding out for the jackal

i can pretty much call a sandman movie right now
he gets dumped into the ocean, manhattan river, a fountain
disolves and thats the end of it
oh and a little trail of sand at the very end to leave it with an open ending of course

i had forgotten about doppleganger though

but again he wouldnt make it to the show because you would have to include all the beyonder stuff then and so on and so forth

its why i dont think we will see a venom movie (and thereby a carnage one)
unless they seriously rework his origins

mysterio might work as a movie villian but the costume would have to be extremely good for the illusion to work
the fishbowl works in cartoon and comics
not in real life

i think the wackier powered guys should be left to the xmen movies to be honest

in the two movies so far spiderman hasnt fought against super-powered villians
green goblin had the suit of armour and that ability enhancing serum
doc ock had his four robotic claws

I would still like to see Prowler and Molten Man (the whole Betty Brant story and what not). But yeah I hear ya. Don't get to methodical with the Sandman story though. You know how awesome it would be to see the Spider-Man Sandman fight on Conney Island!!!

Oh and you are 100% right about Dopple and Venom. While Venom still remains a popular character, they would have to add the whole Secret War, or at least mention it. Plus have spider-man in the black costume for a good mount of time.

to be honest if they dont go with one of the heavier hitters in the spiderman mythos they should have a villian teamup perhaps

he can have other guys working for him

They're both good, I think it's hard to compare them though, I think neither one stands well by itself. I hope they keep them coming, they're doing great so far.

Love them,like toby as a superhero,he has great charisma for a slightly built guy,I find these films both entertaining,much better than superman.
