My biggest issue is when I get "K" as a response. Feels like I didn't deserve the "O" that goes with it. Mostly because it was my ex that did that to me all the time and I really didn't feel like there was any consideration involved.

That drives me crazy when people do that. To me it feels like you're just being brushed off.

The first few texts my mom sent me she wrote normal but removed all the vowels.

That was a little bit hard to decipher. ^_^

I don't care too much about misspelled or abbreviated words in text. The most important thing is if it communicates what needs communicating. I'd rather have an abbreviated text that makes sense than a bunch of complete sentences that don't.

Quality conversation doesn't always get an A+ in english composition class.

I guess my point is there are other things about texts that can bug me far more.

That's the philosophy I've had myself since 2003:
I'd rather have an abbreviated text that makes sense than a bunch of complete sentences that don't.

I just managed to install Viber on a laptop that I'm soon selling. (I couldn't even remember which chat system I was supposed to use to communicate with a certain girl so I just guessed.) The laptop has Windows 7 Professional but Viber requires Android so I had to install it through an emulator. I can barely make myself understood in the local language with that chat system since the letters å ä ö can't be typed due to the limited selection of keyboard languages. I tried to text the girl anyway, whom I know from college a 2-3 years back.
After all the trouble installing: If anyone from here wants to chat with me in English we could do that through the chat system until I have to sell that laptop, my local cell phone number is + then Sweden's two-digit land code then 722 eight zero three one 90, I don't know whether I'm found by cell phone number (which I suppose, it's not exactly connected to my cell phone at all, I merely verified when I started using the app on the laptop) or name. (That computer is on right now but I have to go to bed now.)

I use mostly email actually.

I think it's cute.
There was one guy on a dating site who had dyslexia and I told him: Who cares? Just write what you want. People should just stop being stupid and making comments. That's a turn off for me, although grammar nazi's can be nice too since my dad is one. He can't help it, he was a teacher.
