Space-Time, quantum mechanics and Christianity.

Is it something that we form our beliefs around? Is it something we need to find ways to fit it in to our beliefs? A partial in between?

What would be the question about Christianity which could be raised by the discovery of gravity wave?

I am sorry, but this is wrong. Time dilation, redshifts, and the expansion of the universe become important only on extragalactic scales of millions or even billions of light years. You don't have to worry about these phenomena for travel and communication within our own planetary system, or even within our Galaxy.

Ignorance is bliss ...until it isn't. But if you really think about it there is no price to pay because you never really knew about anything to begin with. Of course that means there's no refund either. Ignorance is well ... ignorance. If you happen to indirectly kill yourself by the heat death or Sun's expansion that's all on YOU (and your stupidly inward-looking civilization I suppose) You betcha that you ultimately have to consider the Universe's ultimate fate. Especially when we become an interstellar society with all these aliens, time travelers, and unknown forces running around in humanity's little sphere of influence. Gotta make sure no one bursts the bubble...Friendlies deserve interstellar trade and hostiles need a lecture on multi dimensional extroverted morality. No to the xenomorphs hello Xeelee I say.
