CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you need to know hu woud win in a battel sonic woud and you have to be...o yha i cant say that...but....well...uuhhh...not..smart?..ok well win it comes to what game is bader well i say sonic.

Sonic the Hedgehog is by far the greatest platorm character ever developed. He is the coolest on the MD(Genesis). I like when you leave him standing there long enough he'll start tapping his foot and getting mad. This hedgehog is made to move!
Up against Mario, Sonic WILL win. Sonic can go much faster than Mario's 'b speed' and can hit enemies from the side! How many times has Mario died running into a stupid goomba? Sonic could step on Mario without a mushroom. Sonic can get hit MORE than twice just by recovering his rings. Mario's fireballs? Yes, they'll bounce off Sonic's fireshield like pebbles. I don't even think we need to go SuperSonic. That's probably too much for Mario.

I definitely have to say Mario. Not to say I'm not a fan of Sonic. Anybody remember paying $50 for Sonic when it first came out for the Genesis like I do? 
I must admit that I thoroughly loved it, but as far as variety of things to do, it couldn't beat Mario.

I prefer Mario. Sonic is cool, but I've played more Mario games then I have Sonic games.

Only if you're looking at which character has more success in the game industry. Based on their abilities however, the plumber doesn't fair too well.

I guess I can't be really objective when it comes to this since I've played Sonic games almost entirely. 
I've only played Mario a little bit, and he's not bad. The games are pretty cool.

Yeah, I like them both, but Sonic gets my vote. I just love those games! Although SA2 was kind of disappointing, but then so was SMS.
