Several years ago, Sonic and Amy Rose went to a lake that was overshadowed by the Little Planet, a moon that was small enough to enter the Earth's atmosphere, but big enough to not burn up in the atmosphere. Dr. Eggman seeked to use the Time Stones, mysterious gems with the power to control time, to take over the Little Planet, and eventually Earth. Dr. Eggman had also created Metal Sonic, a robot that served as Sonic's equal in every way. When Metal Sonic kidnapped Amy Rose, a young girl who had a growing crush on Sonic, Sonic realized he had to not only save the Little Planet, but Amy Rose as well.
In the end, Sonic defeated his Metal counterpart, and Dr. Eggman, saving the Little Planet from tyranny. The long metal chain connecting the Little Planet to Earth was severed, and the Little Planet was released back into space.
During his journey, Sonic had to travel between time to remove the effects of Dr. Eggman's robots....But now, Sonic's adventures through time have come back to haunt him......

"Aw, c'mon Sonic, just let me on!!", a youn pink hedgehog cried.
"Heck no, Amy!! Get your own board!!", a sleek, blue hedgehog replied.
Amy Rose, the pink hedgehog being yelled at, pouted for a moment, before coming angry. They were on the beach, and Amy was seeking to have Sonic, her "Boyfriend", to teach her how to surf. However, Sonic, the blue hedgehog, saw through her plans, and just plain saw her as an annoyance.
"I try to help you on your adventures, and all you do is push me away!!", Amy shouted. She pulled out her Piko-Piko Hammer, a large red and yellow hammer, and jumped on Sonic, procceeding to hit him repeatadly with it.
"Ow!! Amy, stop!!!", Sonic shouted.
"Ha ha!! They make a cute couple, don't they?", a red echidna commented.
"Hmm.....I suppose so, even though Sonic doesn't seem to appreciate Amy's company....", a yellow fox with two tails replied.
Knuckles, the red echidna, and guardian of the Master Emerald, the large green gem that gave power to the Chaos Emeralds, smaller gems with unbelievable power when brought together, stroked his chin.
"I think I'm gonna go get a bite to eat at the hot dog stand. You want something, Tails?", Knuckles asked.
"No....I think I'm going to stay here, and work on designs for the Cyclone II", Tails replied. His real name wasn't Tails, but a nickname given to him by Sonic, for his unique two tails. By twisting them together, he was able to hover off the ground, or even fly short distances. He was also a child prodigy, and a genius, his skills witha computer rivaling those of Dr. Eggman.
Tails typed rapidly on his laptop. "My schematics are almost finished.....", he said, eargerly. While Tails was very smart, he was only twelve, much younger than Knuckles, Sonic, and Amy. Sonic and Amy were fifteen, and Knuckles was sixteen, so in most outings, Tails was left alone, working on his computer.
Tails looked up from his computer long enough to see Amy riding on Sonic's surfboard, while Sonic tried in vain to catch up to her. In the water, his super-speed was slowed down.
Tails smiled. Suddenly, an irritating beeping sound eminated from his laptop. Looking down, he saw a strange signal coming in.
"Huh....What's this.....?", he asked. Typing uch more rapidly, he pinpointed the coordinates where the signal was coming from.
"SONIC!!!!!", he cried. Closing his laptop, he rushed down towards the water. He was carful not to step into the water with his laptop.
Sonic and Amy ran up from the water, Sonic throwing his head back and forth a few times to shake the water from his quills.
"What's up, Tails?", he asked, casually. Tails was quick to notice a rather large bump on his head from Amy's beating, but decided not to sya anything.
"We've got trouble!! My laptop just received a strong signal, and I was able to pinpoint the coordinates! And, since it isn't moving...I think it's Eggman!!", Tails said.
"Eggman!! What's he up to this time?", Sonic asked.
"Well, there's only one way to find out...I'll get my shoes!! You go grab Knuckles!!", Sonic said. Using his quick speed, he dashed towards Station Square, and, more specifically, his hotel room, where he had left his shoes.
"Knuckles!!", Tails shouted, running towards the food stand.
"HEY!!! What about me?! Ohh....Sonic, your in BIG trouble!!", Amy said, he eyebrows narrowing. she rushed off towards the hotel, where she could change from her swimsuit to her clothes.....And maybe whack Sonic over the head a few times for running off.

"Forget that!! We've gotta hurry....I picked up the signal in the Mystic Ruins.", Tails said.
"Let's go!!", Sonic said, dashing towards the train station. Knuckles leapt into the air, and started gliding, a special ability he was born with, and Tails twirled his two tails together, and took off, flying after them.
"Hey!! Wait for me!!", Amy shouted, waving her arms frantically.
