I am doing a study of the Book of Psalms, and I am looking for contemporary Christian songs that are based on Psalms, or have Psalms in them.

I'd love to know songs like this too. 
I'm not sure if this counts as contemporary Christian or if it's worship music (I'm not well aware of the genres). But anyway, Selah - "You are my hiding place" is based on psalm 32:7.

I composed music for the first 6 1/2 psalms. They're at soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=959751&content=music (you have to cut and paste into your browser). You can also google: ian ferrin bibleworks
IMO Psalm 1 and Psalm 3 are the strongest tunes and I have them available to download for free.
These settings use the World English Bible which is a great translation. Like the NASB it's based on the ASB. If you compare, it's VERY close to the NASB.
