Song ideas?

I know this is childish and silly, but my best friend and I are making "mix" cds for her husband and my fiance. The four of us are starting back to school in a week or so...4 different colleges! We all live close to each other, and the colleges are all over an hour drive from where we live. So the two of us want to give them CDs to listen to if they ever feel lovey. =) But we're getting a brain freeze when it comes to thinking of some of the best songs to put on the CDs.....would love any input! Please respond! Thank you!

But what kinda music are you looking for? Anyways, let me see, off the top of my head, some songs I think are great:

"Wish You Were Here" - Pink Floyd
"True Love Waits" - Radiohead
"Yellow" - Coldplay
"I've Got to See You Again" - Norah Jones
"Leaving On A Jet Plane" - Janis Joplin
"Really Something" - Aaron Sprinkle
"It's Oh So Quite" - Bjork

...that's all I can think of right now. Anyways, hope it helps.

What sort of artists do they like? That would help me to come up with suggestions. I always like to put some Lifehouse on my mix CD's, though. Can't go wrong with Lifehouse!

Those songs were good ideas! Already had a couple of them. Thanks! And yes, Lifehouse is always great!

Sam (her husband) leans more towards rap, heavy metal, things like that. He likes faster paced music, but will also listen to a slower ballad every once and awhile. Eric (my fiance) leans more towards easy-listening type music. Particular artists don't matter all that much to them, neither one has an artist that they HATE, so pretty much anything is safe! =)
