Blue - So after the moment of salvation you have to be more then perfect? im a christain now, im far from perfect. does that mean im not really and havent passed the moment of salvation? [just becuase i dont quite get all those terms salvation is went you believe in jesus right and follow?]
Red - it says god know everything. he knows when you'll die before your born and the choices you make before then. god doesnt remember? he forgets? if he forgets stuff does he really remember/know everything? doesnt he just forgive and move on, knowing your past but kinda leaving it out or whatever...?
Orange - well i thikn i have a pretty good memery [well bad but could be used for good...um...yah]. does he really lead you? cuz right now im lost and want to help but im...lost...whatever...it cant be translated from my head to english. i want to help but that same stupid brink wall is always there...
i dont get this. above sin like non sinner/perfect/goodish? congregation like other people? arent we supose to confess are sins to other. like not keep them hiding...?
Somehow, I knew I'd bungled that post heh.
No never doubt your salvation! Even I stumble and fall flat on my face every now and again. We will never be perfect. Only Jesus Christ has that. As Christians, we are to strive to be "Christ-like". To live by His instructions and will.
Romans 14:7-9
"For none of us liveth unto himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For tho this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living."
After we are saved we are to walk in His light and His spirit.
Ephesians 4:1-3
"I Therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Yes God does know everything. What I meant and should have made more clear is the completeness of our forgiveness.
Psalm 103:12-14
"As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust."
Yes He does. In ways I cannot imagine would happen. The leading comes at odd times and places and usually when I least expect it. Ironically it's how I became our church's pianist. Mind you after not playing for almost 10 years! I find that guidance becomes more clear the more time I spend studying His Word, and in prayer. No I don't hear voices...I just *feel* led. Every time I've followed I've been blessed in being able to help bless another in some small way. That's the wonder of it all. How much you gain in knowledge and closeness with Him, just by following where He leads.
God can tear down that brick wall you're at, I've been there. Just keep praying. No matter how trite it sounds keep praying. If you don't know what to pray in your frustration, open up the Psalms and make one of those your prayer.
Thanks for making me pray and think on this...I really didn't mean to confuse...
Sorry
