Something Wicked This Way Comes

((No this is not from the book or the movie. I just like the title))

Long ago, in a dark forest on the other side of the world, a dreadful curse was laid upon the land. Thousands of people dead,their bodies not even staying around for a proper funeral; they just turned to dust. This curse was made by an evil wench by the name of Lady Ivy. Her names sounds nice, that I will agree with you on, but her soul is twisted. She takes happiness in the misfotune of others, and her strength grows with each new death.

Along that forest is a small village, with every person in it dedicated to bringing down Lady Ivy. There's about a few dozen residents in the village, all of them trained in the arts of fighting, medicine, and the good holy magic. In this village, a young woman named Shadow prepares to leave for her quest to bring down the witch, while she's also looking for other villagers to go with her.

Hmmm... We are required to join one central party. This is not a good thing.
I'll join either way, but I would liike to suggest that players be allowed to strike out on your own. This will require some description of the rules of magic and how powerful a character can get before it is godmoding. Can't have each player being more powerful than the witch.

Yeah, you can like part away, but like, dont go rping with yourself. No matter how fun that is, it will get boring after a while. Lol. Thanks for liking it everyone though, this was just a random idea I had. Pretty good, no?

Its very good. It could go pretty fair..i think. And every rpg has its ups and downs.

It's just that it allows everything. A goal and freedom... the perfect roleplay. You give no clues as to what sort of characters we should have.
We had better have some sort of map. Or do you want us making up places as we go along?

My character will have to start out separated from the group, since he comes from outer space and doesn't stay in one place for long.

Well, It's a working progress in my mind. I'm getting an idea of each new place as I think we'll arrive. And for the characters, I give a small hint,magic. So that could make you like archers with spells, warriors, healers, anything that your imagination could dream of! As long as its not godmoding.

Different world. It would be hard to squeeze this into being an earlier time period of Earth.
It's a different world, and if you like you can invent the atomic bomb before gunpowder (although, seeing as how this is fanatasy, there won't be either one).

Adenandra ordered a tree out of the way and stepped out from under the forest canopy. He noticed that the sky was abnormally bright; as protector of this world, he had a responsibility to investigate. He gave a command, and a gust of wind hurled him into space. Air from the planet's atmosphere enveloped him, but he neglected to breathe out of shock at the spectacle before him. A huge fireball, twice the size of his planet despite certainly having diminished drastically by the lack of fuel in space, was moving toward his protectorate. There was no time to yank the planet out of the way; with the greatest force the planet could exert, it would brush the edge of the flame and the heat would eradicate all life. He moved aside and watched helplessly as the flames wrapped around the world called Adenandra.
Rage burst to the surface. Powerless though he may be to save his world, he would avenge it. He pointed his staff at the planet and gave a command. The entire burning mass rushed into his staff, marking the end of Adenandra. Aden (for the title '-andra' refers only to one who protects a planet) flew off in his bubble of air, seeking to gain power and vanquish evil.
After nearly a year traveling through space, he arrived at a planet and immediately landed. He released some air from his staff, waited a day for it to permeate the planet, then sniffed to determine the nature of this world. There was power here; there was evil here. This was a good place for war.
Looking about him, he discovered that he was standing on a plateau. A village was visible about forty miles to the west; another was visible nearly sixty miles to the southeast. A mountain chain stretched across the northern horizon. He chose to travel west.

Lady Ivy stood at the top of the highest mountian. She looked at her castel, seeing all the good around. She hated good, she was evil. She had not chosen to be that way. A curse had been placed on her as a child to be what she was. She was a witch. The good and evil of her world at been at war for hundreds of years, just as all good and evil has been. She was one of the strongest leaders of the evil. Her world was under her feet, for now she had slight controll. She was going to curse the land, wipping out many in her path. She fanished from the mountain top and landed nearly 80 miles away in her castel. She would be bringing the curse to night. But she felt change in the air, somthing new, somehting different. It was more pure than the good, more fearful than the evil. It was unknown.

((OK, ya'll tell me how this post was...it has alot of room to improve. Any migcal tips ya'll ca give me i'll take, i've never had a witch charater))

Shadow froze where she stood, her eyes glancing around. A smell, a smell reached her. It definetely was not one of their kind. This didn't even smell or feel from this world for that matter. Dropping her wood gatherings, she rushed out of the small village, taking a giant leap, using the wind's power to help her. She landed on the side of her village's mountain, her hands working in a fury to help her climb up. Almost to the top, she used the earth to make a small grabbing point, her boosting herself on top of the mountain, standing on the plateau.

She gasped slightly as she saw the person who was new. Walking over to him slowly, she observed his features, seeing a staff of some magic in his hands. She growled softly to herself, demanding the questions, "Who are you? What are you doing here?" She drew a sword from its sheath, sticking the point to the back of its neck.

Lady Ivy couldn't decide what her means of attack would be. Wether it be the wind,rain, or fire, she would kill. She decided on the Fire and wind. Her most powerful elements. She walked out onto the pateu of her castle, she used the wind to bost her up to see the land. She took a soft step in mid air, the wind willing to hold her. She looked across the flat range of land around her, to the west she would send the attack. The fire would burn until she felt like letting go.She Would be mercyful to the sad ones that begged, and terrible to those who chose to stand in her way. She gracefuly walk off the wind back into the castel.
