I was searching in the online bible about 'have nothing to do with' because I feel like sometimes people avoid or shun me,
and I wanted to know if they are doing it because they are following certain verse, or if I am really that repulsive or sinful. Then I came upon the follow verses, which I can definitely relate to.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Psalm 38:9-11 (NIV)
9 All my longings lie open before you, Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you.
10 My heart pounds, my strength fails me;
even the light has gone from my eyes.
11 My friends and companions avoid me because of my wounds;
my neighbors stay far away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am currently going thru a medication withdrawal (it makes me sleepy in the day time so I am quitting it) and my heart pounds in the morning, my brain feels tired all the time and I was unable to do simple tasks easily like walking my dog (I will do it tomorrow), I noticed puffiness around my eyes everyday recently, and my eyes sometimes feels dim.
I noticed people at church sometimes avoid me because of my condition.
So after reading the verses, I know that I am not the only one going thru those hurtful things, even David did, and I can cry out to God like he did in the Psalms, especially in Psalm 38.
