If you are struggling with God-stuff or just life in generall, designate a notebook and just write random thoughts, maybe lyirics that will help you, perhaps bible verses. i started keeping my 'book last night and it is really helpful!

I started a 'thought' diary 20 months ago when I separated from my wife.
It helps to look back and see how far I've come and see the help and support people have offered me.

I keep journals and devontional books and prayer books and all sorts. I love writing. I would recommend starting some sort of note book, it's good to reflect on things and see how you are developing and changing.

I write poetry personally about everything under the sun but it is always because of my mood at the time and I have to let it out on paper or I write it here in poetry and prose. It doesn't matter it helps me to release my feelings good or bad in a positive manner and I have been doing it for years. besides at times it can be fun too when I am writing about something nice.
