  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Thank you for the link . . I knew something was "off" . . I now remember being in a discussion about this quite a while back . probably last summer at the "other" place . and I recognized that page as one I had given to someone . . (of course, it was not something that really stuck with me, or I wouldn't have asked here! LOL)

Here is something else that people might find interesting . . and further explains the "red flag" feeling . . it denies the power of the cross . .

I posted this and the information above in the other thread . .

http://homepage.mac.com/fletchbiz/undergroundbride/lyingspirits/lyingspirits8.htm

" Smith further discounts the power of the cross in his illustrations in Beyond Tolerable Recovery,[3] whenhe pictures the work of the cross in our lives as something that hampers us with a ball and chain. In his view, we struggle to live the victorious life because the blood of Christ is enough to save us, but not enough to equip us and give us emotional healing. One can only conclude that Smith himself has failed to understand the ultimate power of the crucified life. His methodology offers a poor substitute."

This is in the last chapter of a whole book dedicated to exposing the dangers of this ministry

I think anyone who is considering using it, or knows people who are, or are actually in it should read it . .
