I want my future wife to show up with a 6-pack naked. Now thats romantic.
Ok, so do you mean you want her or the 6-pack to be naked? If the 6-pack, isn't that kind of like the naked animal concept?

romantic....hmmm... i've had love poems written about me. that was ubersweet.
i'm not much of a flowers girl... i loved having "Goodnight Moon" read to me before bed once. I enjoy the idea of my man reading to me. How sweet that would be! I also love those little things... a hand on my lower back as we go through a crowd. A kiss on my cheek when I pass by. Him mouthing "I love you." simple things...

Well...I will dig into my bag of experience on this one for what I have done.

Ummm...driving up to the microwave tower on top of the local mountains just to watch the stary sky.

I have a secret spot too that no one else knows about (except for surfers and such. That is completly isolated from one of my local beaches by the tide (but its only about 2 feet of water and no one even figures that you can cross over.) But its a good spot for a picnic.

But really...spontinaity is fun. I am totally diging being able to eventually do that stuff again.

I guess thats why all my relationships last so long. I have only had 3 in my life...all have lasted over 3 years each. I dont know. I just like being the romantic type of person.

I also have found (for you guys out there)...WRITE! Poems, love leters, random cards, get books and write a note in them for your gals. Writing music also is cool. I won my second gal over by that.

I dont know...talking about all this makes me feel old! :D

I guess opening doors and stuff is romantic...that's the extent of what's been done for me. There was one guy who made me a CD of some songs from his CD collection he thought I would like :)

I guess I should put some things on here. I've always wanted to be surprised somehow, with a picnic or going to a drive in or just going to mc'ds late at night and sitting in the car talking or something. I just like surprises lol :) Umm...hmm...Getting a flower(s)...I guess anything that's thoughtful really. I like it when it's just one of those moments and you're both looking at the stars or at a sunset or something and you share a sweet kiss

If I were to get really creative and be outrageous I think it would be cool to have him fly (if he can) me in a plane to a romantic spot and have a picnic. Going fishing for a day and having a picnic would also be fun. Or going to an NFL game and tailgaiting...OR oh I don't know. I keep thinking of fun things to do not romantic things. Anyway, carry on :pink:

Sponteniety can be very romantic. I know once I did something to a guy I was dating, he was going to ask my parents if he could marry me... as we crossed the street and went up the drive way of my parents house I took his hand in mine and for every finger on that hand I told him a reason I loved him. It was quick without thought... just off the top of my head. He loved it.... I enjoyed doing it, because indeed at that time I did love him immensely.

Ahhh true romance .. three things for me.

1. Take her to place where i know the sun sets at a certain time overe the sea.
2. Leave her little love notes around and send her flowers.
3. Tell her in front of my friends that she is worth waiting for and that she is nearly an angel (chessy I know)
4. I would love to run my fingers throug her hair, and acrry her across a rippling stream.
:p) John

Hmm, romantic...

How about every time I have the minute chance to very subtly and indirectly remind her that she is beautiful, inside and out, in character and radiance, I inexhorably seek to lift her esteem toward a celestial and self-empowered awareness of the Beauty in the world all around us?

Extravagance is best served from the inside out in life, else we fall pray to silly cynicisms and unwilling imaginations. If I can find it in her heart that she is beautiful, that she is the princess of her own imagination, that is all I need to work with and the rest would appear mundane to any other observer.

The question then becomes...would she be able to keep up with the vast technical knowledge and precision of thought which makes it possible for me to succeed in engineering? Moreover, is it possible to succeed in a technical field, while still retaining romanticism at heart?
