It just a story I started in school. Its a sci-fi about a high school that was abducted by some jerks to an alien moon where they have to fight other races or risk Earth being destroyed. Read and tell me your opinions please.
Isaac rode his silverstalker to the head of the hill, his hopes high as he prayed with all his might that the fort was there.
God wasn't listening. Over the hill was nothing but more rolling green hill as far as the eye could see. And he had seen nothing but green hills for the past three days now.
Isaac's shoulders sagged dejectedly. Behind him came the sound of spindly legs as several more silverstalker slowed down to join him atop his hill. Joshua, and the rest of his "Secret Service" arrived first. Joshua muttered something under his breathe as he surveyed the empty valley.
"Maybe it's beyond the next one." suggested Sergio, not sounding as if he believed his own words as he adjusted his glasses.
"In any case," put in Brad, "It's half-past noon, and everyone's tired and hungry. We've been marching since the middle of the night. Even the enochs look ready to collapse. I think we should rest awhile."
Sergio started to say something, "No, we should keep going. If the Cats get to the fort before -"
Isaac cut off his chief advisor, "No, Brad's right. We need to keep evrbody's strength up. What good is reaching the fort if we're to weak to defend it?
The leader of the high school army gave the sophmore a look that clearly said no arguements. Sergio nodded reluctantly. "Fine, but no more than an hour."
Isaac turned to Brad. "Tell the others to stop and take a break. Get Nathan and one of his teams to hunt for spikerabbits, I saw some ten minutes back."
"Yes, sir" said the former linebacker and now Isaac's second in command. He turned back down the hill and raced down as fast as his silverstalkers six legs could carry him. Isaac turned to Sergio, who was about to speak again.
"I know what you're gonna say. Set up guards around our people. Don't raise the flag, we don't need the Cats or the Reds to spot us like this. Then take some scouts and go beyond the next couple of hills tolocate the fort."
Satisfied with this response, the cheif advisor nodded and proceeded down the hill as well.
Isaac turned his attention to the rest of his army, noticing that the enochs (why the huge, hairy, rhino like creatures were called enochs was something he didn't pretend to know) looked indeed as if they were tired. The train of student warriors came to a halt as Brad spread the news. About 500 weary and hungry teenagers collapsed gratefully on the ground. Isaac couldn't help but grimace. There should have been 2500 kids with him. Instead, at least 700 confirmed dead and the rest unaccounted for.
700 dead. 700 kids from his school were dead.
"Can we survive this?" Isaac asked outloud.
As if on que, "Cats! Cats over the hill! They're coming this way!"
"Look!" cried Joshua, the bodyguard pointed to the west hills, which were now being covered with catlike creatures closly resembling oversized house felines. the only difference was the Cats had twin tails and a double desire to prey on Isaac's army.
The response in the just set up camp was instantanieus. Everybody jumped to their feet. Those with weapons ranging from long spears to pocket knives took them to hand while others scambled to the slightly defensive wagons pulled by the enochs.
Isaac lifted his spear from the side of his silverstalker and nodded as he saw his Secret Service do the same.
Can we survive this
"We're gonna find out right now." the leader muttered as he raced to defend his people.
Well, whatcha think?
