Unfortunately, we are not privy to all the information that goes into those kinds of decisions. You ought to be glad that you live in the USA were you have the freedom to say the things that you do and do not suffer unnecessary punishment for it.

I am thankful to the God that set this country aside for religious freedom - for everyone not only Christians. And yes I know that one day this country will turn even against us, but we still have it pretty good here. And I am thankful for the men and women who are willing to put their lives on the line for the freedoms that we do enjoy.
Yes I realize that my country is a great place and I am glad for my freedoms. Yet there are still many things wrong with our country. These are things which I must speak out against.

Liberals in the church I can abide.

Liberals in government, I cannot. :D

If I rail against Democrats, don't take it personal Mankin. It's just politics!
However it was on the Democrats watch that the civil rights act was made law what was the other side doing?
(So they can't be all bad)

wrong and revisionist history.... this country was not founded on religious liberty, how quickly people forget that there were those who fled religious intolerance in England, and when they set up colonies here they promptly ostracized those who didn't believe as they did.....

naive viewpoint IMO however it seems to be working for ya.....

Who was it that freed the African Americans from slavery? The liberals! No offense but it was the conservatives at the time who wanted to keep their slaves. The Republicans at that time were a lot more like democrats.

While what you say is true of the first people that came over from England.

This country was founded on religious freedom.

The First Amendment:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

uh huh.... and those who established this country said that negroes were 3 fifths of a person... so there was no religious freedom or personal freedom for slaves.... that is called hypocrisy or insanity.... which? Extending the right for some to exercise life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness while systematically denying it to others....

He wanted to rebuild Baylon? lol yeah right.

Yup, it's true.

Did you even listen to the song I posted? It's a war based on pride. To kill other Americans just for someones own retarted vendatta is worse than murder.

There is more at stake with this conflict than just revenge for Bush Sr or American pride.

Aren't you Canadian? If so why do you care about American politics?

I'm not allowed to have opinions on this because I am Canadian?

Besides, what goes on with this war affects us up here moreso than most nations, because we are your closest allies. You better believe there was upheaval when Jean Cretien decided to not back you guys when Bush declared war. We chose to hide under the skirts of the U.N. and it was a cowardly thing to do. I know many Canadians who were completely disgusted with that spineless administration and its refusal to get involved.

Thank God Cretien was voted out long ago.

Who you have in as president also has an affect on us as well.

So, yes, there is going to be interest.

What about Kim Jong il and that nutwagon named Abu or something from Iran? We know they have weapons of mass destruction but we didn't go to war with them. We didn't know if Saddam had weapons but we still went after him. Yeah he was a bad guy, but we're not supposed to be policemen of the world. We should have just focused on Afganistan the country where they actually DID ATTACK us. Plus the neutral countries had terroists involved in that attack, Egypt and Jordon and we did not attack them.

Thier time will come. Be patient.

Under your reasoning we should attack every crazy guy out there.

Yup. Take them all out! Leave not one of them standing.

And the bad thing is WE have to pay for all these wars. With a few months of money we spend in Iraq we could solve the health care problem. We could do a whole lot of better things than kill insane leaders then have the people get into a civil war and all that crap.

Yes I understand that you have a reason to be interested in American politics. However it is America that has to pay for this war not Canada. No offense.
