Same here. It's always been that way for me.

Yes, a significant percentage of FSTDT comments are of the kneejerk variety. There are always a few that try to correct the first type, though.

But this is something I see on many sites where people are given a short article to comment on - a lot of people either only read a line or two of the article, or they seriously lack in reading comprehension. I see it here, as well, where I've had to explain myself to people who definitely lack reading skills and get all worked up over something that wasn't said or implied at all.
