First off, he shouldn't of bailed out AIG (with bonuses and all),
and with all the overloaded PORK projects that don't stimulate
economy any.
how about the car companies? GM takes the $$ is still going to have
to file for bankruptcy -
Calif. takes the $$ and still raises income, sales & vehicle taxes --
banks take the $$ and still raise their credit card & bank fees on us
So we pay TWICE to get them going again?
When a company does poorly in business, you let the company
fail becuz they couldn't do the job. When you let the financial
system regulate itself by falling, you have STRONGER economy
becuz those who succeed pick up that slack as others go to
them instead.
that's how business works. Money transfers and shifts -
when one goes down, others thrive as it gets rerouted.
I've heard financial experts explain this & it's true.
I wouldn't overhaul the health care system to a socialist system
either. (it's also not the source of the economic trouble - it
will create trouble instead).
All they need to do is cap fees & find ways to make it AFFORDABLE
for the majority.
I'd move to a
fair tax system where everyone donated to pay
taxes thru purchases - not forcing (penalizing) people who work
hard and pay their bills to absorb the full brunt of the tax
burden.
Um, so, anyway, are you going to tell me about veterans being treated as terrorists, or are you just going to rant against the media some more?
There's plenty to rant about - no wonder I buried my head in the
sand for so long w/ politics. Every time I pop up to see what's
actually going on, the more incompetence and corruption I see.
I'm fed up with all of them on both sides.
K, I need to clarify that I never said the war veterans were
'being treated' as terrorists.
I said they were listed as serious terrorist threats on the Homeland
Security report. (along w/ pro lifers)
