Having parents that live longer should be a selective advantage. At the time of Noah people were living to be 120. Then thanks to evolution people are living shorter lives? Something does not add up.
The insurance pays for 36 sessions because it saves them money.
With Evolution far to often people have opinions that never get substantiated. Like the whole concept of a flat earth it is amazing how much gets taught as fact when it is complete and total myth.
The guiding hand of a loving grandparent has given humans an evolutionary advantage in survival, scientists have discovered.

Yes a complete whole food plant based diet will mean you will never have coronary heart disease. Also diabetes and a lot of cancer can be controlled through this approach. Like I said though, only 25% of the people follow through. Ask your doctor next time you see him how successful he is in getting people to eat the right and exercise. However, it isn't as if eating right is going to make you healthy forever.

That is not what the research shows. Actually Dr Ornish did most of the research on that one. Then about two hundred people jumped on his bandwagon and decided to ride his coat tail because the research had already been done and his approach has already been proven. Most major hospitals have programs set up based on the model that he established.Sorry, a certain diet by no means guarantees one of not having heart disease.
Well, you're wrong. A creature doesn't mutate. Once a creature is born it's done. It doesn't mutate. Evolution takes place between generations.

Actually his program is designed to reverse heart disease once you already have it. Over five years he can reverse heart disease by around 9%. The main thing is he stops the disease from progressing and getting worse.
According to Frances Collins: "Rapid advances in the Human Genome Project and the study of human genetics are providing powerful tools for us to understand the instructions in our genetic material. We are daily gaining insights into the mysteries of the human cell, how it works, and why sometimes...it doesn't. Though the Human Genome Project only got underway a decade ago, the free access to the data it produces has already led to a great profusion of discoveries about the genetic basis of a very long list of diseases. Initially these discoveries related to relatively rare conditions, but increasingly now the same powerful approaches are uncovering hereditary factors in heart disease, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, bipolar illness, asthma, and other common illnesses of our society.
These revelations hold within them the promise of a true transformation of medical practice. Quite possibly before the end of the first decade of this new millennium, each of us may be able to learn our individual susceptibilities to common disorders, allowing the design of a program of effective individualized preventive medicine focused on lifestyle changes, diet and medical surveillance to keep us healthy. This will also enable us to spend our precious health care resources on maintaining wellness instead of relying on expensive and often imperfect treatments for advanced disease.

The plan it to first pinpoint the disease an individual maybe predisposed to, then work to prevent the expression of that disease through diet, lifestyle changes and medical surveillance.
The discussion is about coronary artery disease. The current leading cause of death in America. Do you know how to use Wiki? Or is there something more then this that you need? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean_OrnishIf you have evidence that a person is guaranteed to be heart disease free because of diet, please present it.

"This result was demonstrated in a randomized controlled trial known as the Lifestyle Heart Trial, with one-year data published in the Lancet in 1990, and five-year data published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which recruited test subjects with pre-existing coronary artery disease.[3][4] Not only did patients assigned to the above regimen fare better with respect to cardiac events than those who followed standard medical advice, their coronary atherosclerosis was somewhat reversed, as evidenced by decreased stenosis (narrowing) of the coronary arteries after one year of treatment. Most patients in the control group, by contrast, had narrower coronary arteries at the end of the trial than the start. Other doctors have claimed similar results with similar methods, for example: Caldwell Esselstyn,[5] and K. Lance Gould.[6]"
Here is a link for an article that shows Coronary atherosclerosis and heart disease were almost unknown among Greenland Eskmos when living in their original cultural environment. However, Greenland Eskimos living in Denmark at that time had much higher cholesterol and triglyceride levels. The difference in dietary habits between Eskimos living in Greenland and those living in Denmark was substantial. Those living in Denmark had adapted to a Western diet typical of that time.

Oh so you're making a straw man argument. I get it now.I was replying to to your post. Not the original point. Your were supporting the original point with a secondary refutable point: which I refuted.
Why is seeing and detection a problem? As long as we can detect something with instruments we do not need to rely on sight.
Does a radio telescope rely on sight? Of course not.
Can a pilot land a plane on instruments? Of course.
Baffling obsession with vision vs detection is baffling.
You mean the curved space as defined by the SCIENTIFIC THEORY OF RELATIVITY?
I totally agree. It's just a belief system and not even a good one at that as it goes against what we observe happening in the real world. It's just a religion, based on a false set of assumptions, a blind faith if you will. There is nothing scientific about evolution.
