I have seen that a lot of the anti-MJ people say Messianic Jews are just protestants "pretending to be Jewish."

My question is, what do you say to that? Do you consider yourself more Protestant, (sola, scriptura, sola fide.. etc, ) or more along the side with historic EO, and Catholic?

How old is the MJ movement?

In such situations, I choose to quote Popeye the Sailor, "I am what I am, and that's all that I am." I'm not a fan of labels; I simply want to obey G-d by following his scripture. If that puts me in the MJ camp, so be it!
