1. Why does my AVG (anti-virus program) shut my computer down?

2. How can I get Outlook Express to post my email messages in chronological (rather than seemingly-random) order? (it just started doing this random thing fairly recently)

3. Instructions on how a Village Idiot can send a zipped file on an email

4. oh drat, there was another one, and now I've forgotten it..... I'll be back.......

:help:

That's a good question. Can you describe exactly what's happening?
2. How can I get Outlook Express to post my email messages in chronological (rather than seemingly-random) order? (it just started doing this random thing fairly recently)
Sorry, I don't know Outlook so I can't help you until you upgrade to Thunderbird ;)
3. Instructions on how a Village Idiot can send a zipped file on an email
My email client has a button called "Attach" when I compose a message, I click "Attach" then "Browse" when I find the zip file I'm looking for I double click on it and I'm done, it's attached.

Thanks for your help, Mike.

When my AVG does its daily scan, not every time but pretty often I get the dreaded blue screen which tells you to "press any key to continue" but no matter what key you press you can't continue - the only way to get back on the computer is to reach down to the reboot button on the tower.

Oh, here's another question - why would my speakers sometimes work really well and other times not at all? It seems that if music and computer-noises play at the same time at all, the sound goes away, and I have to reboot to get the sound back *maybe.
