some questions about Heaven

so basically i came to these conclusions.

A. you know who your wife is, but you arent married or have that same relationship on earth.

B. I will know my dad and the memories we shared, good and bad, and any other family that made it. That will be pretty cool, i just wanted to know that. I really never asked before

C. I will know my enemies (dont really have any now anyway) and we will have a different relationship

D. You build a house. Are their nails and hammers though?

E. Good food and a good party await you

And most importantly we will be a kingdom of priest and rulers of everything that exsist. We have the same life indwelling us that God Himself has at the moment we accept Christ, and this life is eternal life-the life that is life. We will be joint-airs in the authority and dominion that has been given to Christ by the Father, and in this we will rule ALL creation in the grace, righteousness, and justice that is shown to us this very day. Everyday will be something different and all things will be totally different, because ALL will know and accept the fact that God does exsist, and His glory is shown through His children; the church-the body of Christ.

yea but the days in Heaven are probably different then the earthly days. In fact, they are. We just reallly dont know how until we get their.

I believe our minds cannot even come close to imagining how perfect heaven will be. We do know that in heaven, we will maintain our identity eternally. Recall what happened on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew Chapter 17:1 – 3). Moses and Elias (Elijah), who had lived and died on earth much earlier, and who ever since they died had been living in heaven, came from heaven and appeared before Jesus and the three apostles. Moses was still Moses, and Elijah was still Elijah. We know the marriage relationship does not exist in heaven. (Matthew Chapter 22:30) because all true Christians are the bride of Christ.

We also know that there will be no pain or sorrow in heaven (Rev 7:16, 17, Rev 21:4), and all things will be new Rev 21:5. Based on this I believe we will not remember our lives and relationships on this earth. Many people we know who might even believe they are saved may not be. Recall what happened to Lot, he thought his family was going to be saved from destruction but his wife was not. We are also told that on the last day one person will be taken and another left (Luke 17:32-36, Matt 24:40) and that during this great tribulation family members will be against each other. Imagine the sorrow we would have if God did not choose to save any other members of our family. That would be terrible and such feelings will not be present in heaven.

What is important now is to keep your eyes on the Lord through prayer and bible study. As a Christian we should put him first (Eph 6, 2, Corinthians 5:15). We should continuously test or prove ourselves (Gal 6:4) so that we can be sure of our salvation and be with Christ in His kingdom for eternity.

well if Moses and Elijah appeared to their apostles, they obviously knew who their apostles were. If they knew who their apostles were, doesnt it seem safe to conclude memories will still be held in Heaven?

In Rev where they say everything is new, i think this means its everything is a fresh start. As one other person mentioned, you will need to have these relationships and memories to udnerstand what is occuring their. Similar to this, when a loved one comes down to visit or even communicate (one that is deseced), they understand who you are and what you meant to them.

A. Since my father passed away, what happens if my mom remarries (i wont let it happen)? Will she have two husbands in heaven? is there even such a thing in heaven?
Your mother has her own life, It is no ones business if she remarries. There is no marriage or sex in heaven.




B. If there isnt such a relationship in heaven like husband, is there a relationship such as Father? will i know my dad is my dad their, and i was his son? or will he juist be known as a "Loved one"?
We will know all the people that we knew on earth, but there is no doctrine, that I know of that says my mother will still be my mother? It doessn't matter, for we will love everybody even those we couldn't stand here on earth.



C. Now i know they have jobs up there, for this i am sure. But what kind of jobs? or do they not have them? obviously they cant have scientific jobs or anything like that. SO i wonder what they do?
Jobs in heaven? Verse please! All will have their rank and file, ie: Moses will be leader of nations, but is this a JOB?, or one of the rewards he recieves from the Lord?.



i have a few more, but these are the most important onesf or now.
