Jumping on the bandwagon, lol.
Here are my beautiful babies I was blessed with.
The first is of my son, Joey-3 and my daughter, Rebe'kah-2.
The second is Rebe'kah right after she was born. They said 'IF" she lived, she'd be a vegetable. Praise God she is healthy, happy, smart, oh...and beautiful, lol.
The third is Joey on his birthday.

may I just ask what happened to your little girl?

Has anyone received blessings for listing photos here- maybe I'm wrong, but I did not.
When my water broke merconium was discovered within it....meaning she had a bowel movement inside the womb. Her heart rate started fluctuating about 6 hours into my labor and it was decided that we would try vacuum extraction, first and if that didnt work the first time, we would go C-section.
She was born the first try, but she wasnt breathing. She resisted artificial respiration attempts and had several seizures. The staff wouldnt even allow me to see her during this time. They rushed her to NICU and continued life saving efforts and were able to somewhat stabalize her enough to send her to our local Children's Hospital.
Before she left, they brought her in a life support incubator and I was able to see her for the first time. The chaplain, doctors, hospital administrators, and my family, all crammed in my tiny room and said a prayer for her. It was phenomenal how many lives she had touched in that first hour. She was already fighting against the odds placed on her.
They released me from the hospital 2.5 hours after giving birth, so that I could "say a proper good-bye" to my little girl.
Upon arriving at the Children's Hospital, we were rushed into a room and told of her prognosis. She was on a ventilator, her lungs had collapsed, she had severe brain swelling and bleeds, High Blood Pressure, and they believed she had suffered a stroke. BUT her heart was beating strong.
Our prayer chain was unstoppable. People everywhere prayed for my baby and after one week of life saving efforts, she began fighting on her own. Exactly 2 weeks after she was born, she was released to come home.
We were told she would most likely never walk, talk, or eat on her own. From the day she came home she never had a single problem. She has developed as well, if not better, than any other healthy child. My God is truly an awesome God

um,wow! (wiping tears from my eyes). Thanks for sharing that. As a mom myself, I have been through some aweful things in the hospital with both my children.(both my children were near death at their births also)Children are a fighters, aren't they? Prayer works all the time! That's our God. Always there when we need Him. I am so blessed to hear your little girl's testimony. God bless her sweet little heart.

hi Htb Ellington,
how ya doing today? So where abouts do you live in the US?
I live in NewYork closer to Buffallo,we have a great skate park here.
You can use it for roller blading or skateboarding. It's very nice. Do you guys have a skatepark near you or do you just skate in your local park? We live just 3 houses from our Public school and there are kids always skating down there,I love just to go watch. We also have SkyAngel satellite on our tv and they have a show that is about teens competing. I love watching that!
